I had a gas one and now have an electric one. The gas one broke down several times, hence we now have an electric one.

better off blowing on your clothes, why are we hell bent on trying to make or buy the cheapest appliances we can?

how much did you spend on your wardrobe?

and you want to trust it all in this, not for me - Siemens or Miele every time.

i have had a white knight for 20 years now and its been used pretty much all the way through. Cant fault it.

What will your Siemens or Miele do to your clothes that the White Knight won't? It has a gentle heat setting that doesnt shrink anything.

you must know very little about dryers

drum size - smaller drum means clothes rub against each other more and cause surface wear to them

Heat settings - electronic controls vs std thermostat - electronic = stable temp, T/stat = +/- 11 degrees

Drum surface - textured vs flat = textured created air pockets between the drum and the clothes, helping to reduce wear on the clothes.

Timer vs Sensor drying - forgetting the money savings by having one that switches off when the clothes are dry it also stops you over drying the clothes and causing damage to them

Drum - steel vs stainess steel - stainless steel is much smoother - again causes less wear on the clothes

Guarantee - 2 years or 5 ? Miele and Siemens offer 5 as standard - a manufacturers guarantee not an insurance policy

do you want me to continue ?

lol, always one that has to resort to personal insults as they can't construct a proper argument !

perhaps you would like to confirm where this sensor is to turn the machine off when the clothes are dry ?

I do agree with you though, as your one dryer has lasted well they must all be excellent :?
