They also had some 27" Doors instore but they appear to be out of stock online. The 27" Doors were slightly more at £84.99 each.

But is it SOLID wood, it says veneered white oak, so is it the usual hollow door with a veneer finish, or solid wood (pine e.g.) with oak veneer finish, nowhere does it say the door is solid, would be handy if they gave a weight. IF the door is solid wood, much better for noise absorbing, it is a very good price.

I gave them a knock and they seemed pretty solid.

They're available instore so I'd recommend looking at them yourself first for anyone who's interested.

I also forgot to mention in the OP that they had windowed doors of this style, which I think were around £92.99 each. (The top two quarter panels were glass).

You gave them a KNOCK? nothing like testing the merchandise before purchase!

NOT SOLID WOOD....

Homebase says: Effects and finish: Faced with genuine white oak veneers.

It does not say solid Oak.....
So if it is a solid wood door with white oak veneer (which is not unusual) - then it would be a good price.
#7
if there similar to howdens they will timber framed with in-set compressed chipboard with hardwood oak lippings on the edges and obviously oak veneer finish.
i have the howdens 'dordoyne' range fittind in mine and these are similar to the ones B&Q were selling off a while back
good quality heavy doors and the price is about right for a 4 or 6 panel, be hard pushed to find a solid oak door for £80!
hope that helps
