Understood it's always a matter of what you can afford maybe look at a Leaf ?
after 3 years a lease i3 it will have cost you £13,220
with a second hand £17,000 i3 for an extra £3,780 you'd own it outright for ever and ever ...
And remember the battery is guaranteed for 8 years
why lease over 3 years? its cheaper to go for 2 then get another deal

Thanks guys

Shame we wont be seeing any new deals - I am sure someone mentioned in another lease thread that there were talks with BMW on getting better deals on the I3 , doesn't look like it has manifested:(

Ideally don't want to buy as even at £17,000 its a huge investment for me
I you need finance then the deals are not that great at the moment
Better to get a bank loan and buy with cash.
And if you have the cash the best deal is still to buy from a bmw main dealer at around £17,000 with under 4,000 miles.
Elms have this car
£16,994
Trade seller, distance: 54 miles
FRANCHISE
2014 (64 reg) Hatchback 2,899 miles Automatic 170 bhp Electric
BMW apps interface, BMW ConnectedDrive - Assist, BMW emergency call, BMW Online services, BMW remote services, BMW teleservices, Cruise control with brake function, Lights on warning, …

Obviously that the previous model if you need a 94ah model then you're going to be paying £33,500+ or finance as previous poster which works out at £13,220 or £367.22 a month net

Hi Rapster, latest deals are nothing like the previous ones. Best I have found - which I'm going for is £295pm and about £2600 deposit for a Rex in metallic and park assist. 8k miles pa, 24 math lease.
There are a limited amount of cars coming in for lease apart from BMW dealers, which are more expensive again. Also due to the fall in the value of the pound they are likely to announce a price increase soon.
So if yo can manage the payments think this is the best you will get. I decided it was that or move on!
