Went into Heron in Kingsthorpe, Northampton today and noticed these, thought it was a brilliant deal.
Cherry Valley County Duckling Frozen 1700g for only £3.50.
Duck seems to cost a fortune everywhere else including Tesco, who are selling it at £5.50 a kilo.
Use by dates seemed to all be around mid November.
I was told this is national and there were plenty there.....at least 25.
Grab your pancake rolls and hoi sin sauce....mmmmm!! :)

Nasty.

Great price, although at less than 4 lb these won't have much meat on them.

It just sounds wrong calling them ducklings

I know what you mean. Thought I should list it as labelled though.

I work near Kingsthorpe - but we don't have a freezer at work and they are closed by the time I finish so I can't buy stuff in my lunchbreak.... :-( what a bummer!

What a waste of a life for the amount of meat that would fit between one wrap

Just for information, i've checked these out today and they are graded as "Class B", so not exactly tip top standard meat
