What happened to it?

It was gutted that its life was only worth £1.00 :(

that is a smoked mackerel fillet, not a whole mackerel!

I'm gutted.

Every time I have looked at fish at Tesco or Asda, the eyes are clouded over, and they stink.

Go to Morrisons, or we have a fishmonger in cardiff central that are one of the best in the area.

One pound fish.......
I'm sure that's been done.

Marinated fillet. Not smoked.

Caught 27 of them today for less than a pound. Not marinated or smoked obviously.

Morrisons fish counter always stinks to high heaven every store I've been to looks like they never change the ice daily or there fish must be out of date. At least Tesco fishmongers know what they are talking about& Asda's cross contaminate between cooked& raw food

But they look so helpful on the adverts? Are you telling me it's all a big sham? Next you'll be telling me the friendly fishmonger isn't really a fishmonger and doesn't regularly serve Ant & Dec.

These are the same price every summer? Great for the BBQ season.

If they're the ones that are on ice in the fish counter, they are absolutely disgusting! Overly salted and sickly sweetened
Not voting, but try one before stocking up on these

Why on earth would I do that? If you catch them yourselves they come with guts and bones and skin and stuff, and while I appreciate that some people enjoy it, fishing to me is about as dull a time as I could ever wish to spend. So if I fancy one I'll just pay a pound.

Hey paolo, what smoker do you use?

Have you tried the mac's bbq cold smoke generator for anything? ..very good unit!
