Morrisons (at Cambourne, Cambridgeshire) were doing some cracking deals on salmon recently - bought an entire salmon for £22. If you see this offer in your local morrisons, please confirm availability.

The fishmonger chopped the head and tail off as wife didn't like the idea of doing that!
Can then chop up into individual slabs and freeze what you won't eat today.

So easy to cook: smother in butter, wrap in foil, bake.

When cooked, salmon with scrambled egg is also nice ;-)

£2.39? If that's true, they're a 1/4 of he price of the normal price as most others are selling at half price.
Asda are doing it for £4.80 a kg at present with the Norwegian salmon averaging around 2.5kg each.
Sainburys are £6/kg and around £10 for an average 1.7kg Scottish fish.
Morrisons are around £5/kg.

Best bits are the head and tail for making a nice salmon soup, oh you binned those bits, never mind

PM me yr address and next time we buy a whole salmon I'll post you the bits we chop off. In the cold weather they won't be too smelly by the time you get them
:-D
