"A plague on thee a plague of mice on thee" is what the useless **** of a clergyman who bodged diy in our house prior to us moving in (bellwire to hookup high load tumbledriers et al in the utility room anyone).

I'm hacking away at the fitted kitchen to reveal hioles in the walls that mice have been allowed entry through & that involves having to cut the old legs off the units to get them out (long miserable story) to patch. plug & paste filler into as well as round pipework & the downpipe, ..basic shoddy workmanship = vermin chewing our electrics!

Best price i've found for these if you only need a few. (chances are you already have the clip on segments from kickboards, ..these are just the feet, which if you've ever had the "joy" to experience in a tight squeeze will just make you think screw it, I'll re-seat a new leg.

previously i'd seen em at around £8.50 for 4

OR via screwfix as a pack of 20 with all the gubbins for £17.99 ..but chances are you don't need 20.

Also good for general light load bearing diy jobs, for instance i'll be looking at the possiblity of these in the loft rather than those expensive purpose made leg raisers (if these can be easily unscrewed completely) to stick additional insulation on key points of my loft & allow some loading afterwards.

I don't expect any heat from this, its not the kind of thing we blokes are looking for in hte run up to xmas, however knowing where these are cheap may get a fellow hukder out of a tight spot on the cheap!

(hopefully the vicars vicarious diy bodgery has sent him closer to his god by means of a health & safety based diy death ..ruddy liability)

I challenge cold voters to find 4 of these cheaper (without nicking them off another kitchen unit)

I bought my wife a wooden leg for Christmas,it wasn't the main present-just a stocking filler. Bom Bom!
And any left over can go in the Lego box....that will confuse the little bugg*rs ;)
I sell these for 85p for a pack but you would have to buy 50 sets LOL.

What a great margin Wickes are making
I'm tempted 306, ..sorely tempted.
And a quick search finds them for £1.71 with free del if spend over £100

I'll only be spending that much if I find anymore chunnel tunnel sized holes behind the units i'm trying to remove, ..spent enough time already. cutting insulation to go on the wall in the gap between units & wall, ..may as well do it properly.

No, no they're not, your recollection is a bit messed up ;)http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/40205599/ £5 for a 4 pack

Those ones are the pre-drilled hole knock in units, precisely the typeI want to avoid.
