I'm waiting for the Hue hub and two bulbs to become a bit cheaper.
£34.99 reduced from £119.00 apparently.

£119 seems a joke, you can get Philips Hue for that price. £35 on the other hands looks attractive.
Quite a few 1 star reviews though, so shouldn't expect Hue quality

Definitely wasn't expecting the same quality, but for the price it's worth a punt.

Trouble with things like this is the security aspect. Will the manufacturer keep the things patched and secure? Will they keep the servers secure and running into the future? Better to pay for established brands as even they have trouble keeping up with all the modern threats.

I have a load of these, picked them up last year @ £15 for three. That RRP is complete bollo%^s!

Don't expect them to work with Alexa or anything else for that matter. I personally wouldn't recommend them.

I suppose I will find out once I have got them. They are only going to be used in a couple of lamps anyway.
If they become problematic they can always be sent back.

You'd be better off buying http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/philips-hue-lux-starter-kit-white-2x-white-9w-es-bulbs-1st-gen-bridge-32-95-w-free-2569658this!

I know it's not coloured bulbs but I'd imagine it's far better and you could always add coloured bulbs whenever they come on offer.
As a side note, I have a Hue setup and have a couple of Innr bulbs added to the setup and thy work great!
