bought a flourean basically a sricam sp012 other day £18 from eBay quite surprised how good it is apart red colours seem a bit funny but otherwise hooked up to my synology vm and the app seems descent enough just need to buy a power extension cable but these are cheap enough to have a go and see if you will actually use it or just give it away or put in cupboard

This camera works fine, good quality image in light or darkness, pan and tilt , micro SD storage, alarm sounding upon tripping, also two way communication. Cracking unit for the money.
Only issue I had was setup, it was a little tricky. Paid the extra couple of quid for insurance and tracked delivery. :)

Exactly the same experience as you. Once you figure it out it's quite easy. Only bug I've found is with the 2 way communication. You can hear audio from the camera but as soon as you talk through the app, you can't hear audio from the room anymore! Only app restart fixes this. Still amazing for the money and I hope it lasts long

So what did people do to get this to connect to the network. Fails every time for me.

Guys who are having issues:

Quick installation:
1. Download the recommended app 360eye (some people have used VueSmartHome which is the same app with different name branding)
2. Connect Camera to power.
3. Press Reset button for a few seconds camera will say out voice prompts.
4. Run the app and use the first option, use your normal router wifi ssid and password NOT the camera.
5. Enjoy.

Ordered mine when on pre-order received two of mine already. Seem really good. Although one has a black mark inside the lens that shows up on the image but cant clean it so that will need to be replaced. The other one is working no issues. Still awaiting delivery for one more.

As this doesnt use IP address it uses the Device ID which I am guessing is cloud based setup. You should change the password for the camera, which you will be prompted to do anyway. But still I am a bit apprehensive if our friends in China can remotely take over and view.

I've tried on several phones and it won't connect at all I've tried having it a few inches from the router it makes no difference, it just gives the long countdown and annoying recognition voice and then fails. It's not my router at fault.

I paid for a quicker delivery which was about a pound extra but came in around 7-9 days I think the cam is really good tbh it is easy to setup and only takes a few moments to connect, it runs from a micro usb connection so no psu needed I have used a power bank to run also (2600mah one and got almost 5 hours use from it) the sound is not bad on it a the motion detector works well, my only criticism is the directions you turn the cam via the app can be a fiddly as in quick moving but apart from that its all good.
