Not my club - you probably know I'm a Man City fan, but I love my footy and thought this was a fantastic price for a Premier League season ticket for an adult and one child. If you are already a season ticket holder it's actually only going to cost £250 to renew ie £13.16 a game.

Anyway, well done Wigan for doing this. Not many clubs do season tickets so cheap.

Prices have been frozen for the 5th year in succession for all existing season ticket holders, with adult packages starting at just £250. That's just £13.16 per game.

New purchasers can also take advantage of an Early Bird, if they purchase before July 17, with full price adult packages starting at just £270. That's just £14.21 per game.

Incredible value and still the cheapest way to watch your favourite football team take on the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal in the best, most competitive league in world football.

The Club has also maintained its Under 21s price of £190

Under 16s season tickets remain at £140 while Under 11s can buy a season ticket for £50 and Under 5's can watch for FREE .

Roberto Martinez paid this tribute to the Latics fans: "With your patience and understanding this season, you have made a real difference again.

"The atmosphere you have generated at the DW has been brilliant and makes me so proud to be the manager of this fantastic club that means so much to all of us.

"The supporters have a vital role to play as we attempt to move Latics onto the next level and I hope that everyone books their seat for next season, because it's going to be really exciting again!"

Dave Whelan, Wigan Athletic Chairman, said: "We have enjoyed some of the best days in the club's history again this season and we need the Wigan people to continue getting behind their team.

"In these difficult economic times, everyone is feeling the pinch and I am delighted that we can offer these fantastic prices for our fans and continue to deliver among the best value football in the Barclays Premier League."

Cold are you mad!

If I lived anywhere near there I'd go every week, just to watch Premiership football. Dave Whelan is a legend, that puts the fans FIRST.

Fair enough you're a blues supporter....... but who didn't see that coming. No goals, top scorer = Villa reject, strike force of Gary O'Connor, Kevin Philips, oh and Zigic..... (my friend's a Valencia fan and they were ****ing themselves when you bought him!)

Get an Arriva super saver ticket and change at Manchester!:{

Give me a prem team in north east with this pricing policy and I'm there.
#12
My Arsenal season tickets have gone up by £60 to £1150 each.... so HOT HOT HOT from me.
#13
Great price for Birmingham supporters to get to see some premiership football.......maybe better to ask for a 3 year deal.......................
#14
that is a great deal.

Atletico Wigan played some proper futbol to stay up.

Roberto Martinez has imported the proper Espanyol ethos - Anyone who likes football in the North West must buy this; bring your child up the right way!

Bravo amigo.

So you're a city fan who completely forgets to add them into "the likes of" bit.....
still living life in the championship then eh?
hahahahaha

Its kinda sad that despite this amazing price, they'll get hardly any fans once more.

not quite as good as Blackburns season tickets,

but still pretty good!

What's the matter with coming to Watford (again I add) or are you still sore after we beat i you in the play off semi finals a few years ago??

One of the most lifeless stadiums in football. Poor fans and empty seats.

Still, rugby town, innit.

It's phenomenal what Wigan have acheived; it's a Rugby League town where [association] football is frowned upon.

Kudos, Dave Whelan, Kudos.

can't believe I am reacting

Wigan years ago was a Rugby town - now it is more evenly split. It is all too easy to have a go at Wigan Athletic because we are a small club with much bigger clubs in the locality. But at the end of the day we are an established Premier League club and the only team in the country to have never been relegated from the Top Division !!!!

And this is a good deal ;-)

HOT! cheap considering this would be a good deal if it were just the top 5-6 teams that you could watch (Arsenal, man u, chelsea, liverpool etc) then its worth it alone.

Small (yet big point) however is that the prices are so cheap because the stadium doesn't sell out. Theyre just trying to fill spaces/gaps.
#28
£510 cheaper than my season ticket for next season and you grt a kid in with that aswel :(

But the prices go up to something like £20 / £22 / £25 per game outside of a season ticket

Looks like the 300 regular holders need a bit of company.

Better off spending the money at Disneyland. Same experience, but at least your coin doesn't go to that money grabbing pr*ck Whelan.

Aye, he can always top up the gate receipts by price fixing the kit.

I'm glad Wigan stayed up as it's a handy away ground to get to from ours. Only 30 mins on the train.

Took my lad to a couple of Wigan games just to test him out there before taking him to Anfield. It's dirt cheap. Kids under 5 go free and another time when we went they were doing an offer where season ticket holders could buy 3 extra tickets for £12 (total).

Not sure what Dave Whelan is on about with the atmosphere though. It's dead as a dodo. There's some bloke with a drum and every now and again the crowd go "de-de, de-de-de, de-de-de-de Latics" and that's about it. Granted it is a rugby town though.

Hey Andy I hear your team's got a new sponsor for next season; Tetley One Cup. BOOM BOOM!!!

(awaits the Tetley no cups response.............. ;-))

Wow.

Wigan dont have any players for next season either. No more NZog, Rodallega, Figeruoa, maybe more. Unless their mighty £6m loan flop returns.

Saying that the way Bruce is buying, Wigan may as well fold and send their 300 fans to watch us instead xD
