Latics Announce Incredible thank you to Season Ticket Holders.

For each of the final three Home Premier League games, season ticket holders may purchase an additional two tickets for just £12, and then receive a third additional ticket free! That means, for each of the games against Portsmouth, Arsenal and Hull City, you could have three tickets for the equivalent of JUST £4 EACH!.

So, basically, if you are a WAFC Season ticket holder you can buy 2 tickets for a mate to watch Portsmouth and Arsenal and you get the third free for the Hull game

There is no need to vote it cold at all , vote on the deal itself regardless of whether you can get it !

Too many people here vote cold because they can't get it , voting is for deals in what is offered , NOT for deals for individuals .

A great deal for anyone who qualifies .
#5
good deal
#6
Bargain, pay nearly £40 for liverpool.
#7
I'd be ****** off if I'd bought a season ticket, although to be fair how much is it per match at the DW if you get one? About £11 a game?

They only charged us £20 for an adult away ticket (was our first away of the season) which was a nice reintroduction to the PL. Considering Man Utd away cost me £41 in comparison!
#8
Smacks of small team, poor support, desperation!
#9
my team(mcfc) are doing similar for last 4 homes games,, sell to anyone £130-00 so this is a top deal for £12-00.season card holders know the score when they buy upfront,, this is always going to happen these days.
#10
a very poor team indeed
#11
Cracking deal that, it's scorching hot.

I don't know whether it's terribly well thought out though, surely the season ticket holder isn't going to be able to sit with the people they buy tickets for?

And Loughborough FC are known throughout Europe for their 1970s Brazil approach to the beautiful game and their jam packed trophy cabinet.

If they are so crap how come Newcastle United got relegated last season and Wigan didn't? Just confused; cos if Wigan really are crap then the Toon must be truly dreadful.
Regarding the fans at Wigan, I find them a pleasant bunch who don't throw a collective tantrum when they don't get all there own way - like some teams who are, or were in the Premier League

Mike Ashley is to blame for our relegation. Forced Keegan out, then replaced him with Kinnear. club for sale, then not for sale, then for sale again, then not for sale.

Oh and the Spuds spanked Wigan 9-1 so they really are a crap team, who don't belong in the premiership.

And in this case its next to nobody.. I'd vote this hot if it was open to non season ticket holders even though I particularly dislike Wigan.

But this is so limited it is barely a deal at all.

Title of the thread is a little misleading. It implies it's possible for anyone to get a ticket for Wigan v Arsenal for £4 and it's not.

In reality it's £12 for three matches for season ticket holders only. Not quite the same I'm sure you'll agree.

who don't belong in the premiership.

They do, because they consistently manage not to finish in the bottom three...unlike some teams I can think of. :-D

There aren't many things that make fans of different clubs unite in joy, but Newcastle's relegation was one of them.
#21
Right - bar the bickering.... whos' going to buy me a ticket for the Arsenal game? i'm up for some away team support in the home team end action :D
#22
this forum is FULL of ********

good deal. end of.
#23
You know what I think most of you lot that come on here are here just to have a moan, how anyone can moan at 12 quid for 3 PREMIERSHIP games, I'm season ticket holder down at Millwall and we don't even get offers like this. The nearest we get to this is like weekend for example, we playing stockport who are sitting rock bottom of the table so millwall have said we can bring a guest for 5 quid, they do this 3 times a season on games that are very likey to bring in a poor crowd eg midweek games and teams that are at the bottom end of the table.
Normal matchday prices are 27 quid even in league 1

Yeah cause you all feel inadequate compared to our support.

even though we are in the championship, we are still putting most of the premierships suport to shame.

Wigan is a top town full of lovely people, hot from me.

Support means absolutely nothing, you don't win anything based on number of fans. I'm glad you get a lot in your ground, means more people got to see your catastrophe last season.

Speaking of winning, when was your last trophy again? 50+ years isn't it?

A few extra thousand fans or trophies...I know which I'd rather have.

You went down because you weren't good enough over 38 games, regardless of the manager it was the same team. Even your Geordie messiah couldn't help you and all he had to do was win 1 more game and you'd have stayed up. The quality of those that stayed up was even worse last season.

There's a large number of Newcastle fans who don't buy into this whole 'best fans in the world' crap because they find it embarassing. Shame it seems you're in the other camp.

Looking forward to you coming up next season and struggling (though the minority will insist Europe is the minimum). 6 points for Wolves that'll do me.
#29
Can i just say i'm a newcastle fan, and I'm already gutted that our ****** fans seem to be coming out of the walls! We went down because we weren't good enough. Wigan stayed up because they were better than us.

Eat some humble pie for gods sake. You've got to build with what you've got, not how many fans we get through the door! Wait till our team starts doing well before you start to **** off Wigan, who by the way at least beat the top four teams every now and then!

HONESTLY!

PS Voted hot, Arsenal for £4. Good for Wigan.

Voila, the sensible half

Good deal by any standards if of course you can find a Wigan Season ticket holder
#32
Who are Wigan?
#33
Right you bunch of muppets! This is a quality deal to see a good family club that play good football. We have no pretensions of being a big club, we are a small club who play in the premier league with a fan base a lot lower than the more established big boys. So what?

I enjoyed watching the latics in (old) division 3 in front of 1,800, and do so now in front of 18k.
We don't often fill our ground so this is a good way of almost giving tickets away to get more bums on seats.

Happy to pick some up for those fans football fans that would like to see some premier league football, but don't hav season ticket holding friends.

And thanks to the toon goon for Charles N'Zogbia and Titus.

PS. All the rugby fans live in Bolton you know, we just let them use our ground now and again.

And this season Latics have beat Chealsea, Liverpool, Aston villa....

While newcastle are playing Peterborough away.
#35
..so... no-one's going to buy me some tickets for the Arsenal game?
#36
Hot! If only to watch Arsenal play...

And i'm a Liverpool Fan.
#37
Having rolled over for their mates at Man U, then taken points off Chelsea & Liverpool, what are they gonna do against Arsenal?

Hi Lefty
Im a PNE fan living in Sheffield. I would jump at the chance to come and watch your last 3 matches. If you could get me a ticket or preferably 2 so I can bring a mate along it would be a great change from some of the championship dross I have been seen this season.

Cheers Alex

LMAO

Quite defensive aren't you?

"Regarding the fans at Wigan, I find them a pleasant bunch who don't throw a collective tantrum when they don't get all there own way ", what, both of them? Marvellous.

Nice regurgitation of a popular and largely untrue stereotype there too, straight out of the gutter press. How many Newcastle fans did you see "throw a collective tantrum"? Because, I didn't see any, and given my preferred team, I'd have had quite a high potential of doing so. Formulate your own opinions on our fans - as you say, we're "truly dreadful" - yet somehow still getting twice the gates at Wigan, most of whom spend 90 minutes sat in silence. Altogether now; "you only sing at the rubgy, sing at the ruuuugby....."

And I'd just like to add; this isn't an attack on Wigan FC. This is a hot deal (getting to watch Arsenal for £4 is anyway); but I'm sick of people basing their opinions on all Newcastle fans based on having seen Sky Sports News interview some gap-toothed yokel(s) outside SJP. Especially fans of clubs who can't even get a decent turnout on a matchday.

And yeah, we went down because we were s***, end of. It would have been nice to have had the collective hopelessness of Portsmouth, Hull, West 'Am and Burnley to prop us up... ah well.

Not at all. I was just pointing out to a previous Newcastle fan in this thread who said Wigan were crap and that as Wigan are a Premier League club and Newcastle aren't a Premier League club that by definition that makes Newcastle worse than Wigan. I wasn't calling the Toon fans "truly dreadful" I was calling the team "truly dreadful"; which even the most rose tinted glasses wearing supporter must agree that last season they were.
