First deal, but I think its a good one.
Play.com have the Wii in stock. You won't find it on their site though. If you visit the Wii product page, you will see that there is no 'Buy' button. What if there was a 'Buy' button though? Where would it point? I think it would point to...http://www.play.com/Games/Wii/4-/1032617/Product.html?add=1032617
You can use this link and it will add a Wii to you basket, once it is in your basket it will show as being in stock.
I did this on Monday evening and I got my Wii this morning. A colleague did this on Tuesday morning and his Wii is showing as 'shipped'.
As of 1pm on 28/11/07 they are still showing as in stock.
Now that I have posted this here, I'll give it minutes not hours before play.com are either out of stock or they close this loophole.
Quidco is not available on consoles from play.com. I believe there is a £5 off £50 floating around but I wouldn't push your luck, if it is still showing as in stock then I would order ASAP.
Good luck to everyone, whether you are buying for a Christmas present or to make a killing on ebay or trade-in (CEX are currently giving £236 in vouchers + £7 for Wii Sports or £221 + £5 in cash). In fact, even if you are buying for a Christmas present, if the person you are buying for is old enough to understand the concept of money then you should trade it in and then get it back for a sensible price after Christmas and probably get an extra game too.
Let the rush begin!!http://www.play.com/Games/Wii/4-/1032617/Buying-a-Wii-to-sell-on-ebay-or-maybe-CEX-is-not-wrong/Product.html?add=1032617
