Synopsis
One of the first survival horror franchises has been given a new lease on life with this action title of the same name.

Edward Carnby, the main character from the original Alone in the dark first released in 1992, is searching for answers to the secret behind New Yorks Central Park, which has contains a dark secret hidden by generations of concealed guardians protecting the public from its dark truths.

Alone in the Dark is less focused on the survival aspect of the original, and is instead a more action orientated game, full of explosive set pieces and direct combat with monsters and creatures of the night. Carnby can now use the environment to his advantage by using everyday objects as weapons and creating controlled fires. These fires must be carefully monitored, however, as they can spread and quickly engulf entire rooms. These weapons can also be stored and later combined with other objects to create puzzle solving items or fresh combat weapons. Player can experiment with each item they find to discover the best combinations to survive.

The rigid structure of most horror titles has been cast aside by Alone in the Dark. Players are encouraged to be creative with the environments and objects provided to them, letting players create their own horror experience.

Don't forget Quico

It is a very good price, but the control for the game is awful. PS3 is a better version.
