How can people vote this as negative? They are almost impossible to get hold of in the shops, and rarely online. If your son or daughter had a birthday next week, and you could afford this, you'd be voting this HOT HOT HOT! If they'd saved up their money, but couldn't get hold of one, then this would also be HOT.

Just search in Google (or other search engine):
Wii in stock locator
, a few websites have up to the minute alerts of retailers with stock!

I said it another post to use a search engine and don't wait for others to tell you about a deal 10 hours later!

This week they have been in Woolies, Amazon and John Lewis, to name a few stores - all at RRP. GAME and the other bundle only stores are taking the mickey with these 'deals'. I think that is the reason for the chill factor.

In his defense, you can easily return any unwanted bundled games after purchase (I know I did) to GAME. They will accept returns at any retail store. This bundle isn't a rip-off, its just a bundle.

Errrrm. Nobody here has posted ANYWHERE else right now that you can buy Nintendo Wiis ONLINE from a HIGH STREET known name or anywhere else, where there is STOCK.

So Vote Negative if you like, but I know parents across the land will find this useful to know you can buy a Wii Bundle right now, and return the games (appparently) for the refund, so that you get a Wii delivered and it ends up costing you £179

Woolies had stock for 30 minutes. So did John Lewis.

This stock has been there for 6 hours, so I think it it a HOT POST

You say Woolworths had stock for 30 mins as did john lewis, you also sat that Game have had stock for at least 6 hours, surely that tells you what people think is hot and whats not.....

Don't be so precious.

I can confirm this because I done it myself. Not a rip off just a bit of a pain to take the games back if you're not near a Game store. If you want a Wii sooner rather than later then this is one of the only ways to do it. It's actually a good deal if you compare it to Comet, Currys, Dixons, etc. With them you can't take the games back. Voted hot anyway.

I originally got one from GAME, they wouldn't take the bundled games back at one store but the other in my town Um'd & Ar'd then after a call to Head Office & 15 minutes later were happy to refund me for the games.

So don't count on them refunding for the games instore - you may have to send them back to their Internet based address shop.

Well it states in the customer service area of their website that 'You can return goods to your nearest GAME Store' and 'Please note items bought in 'bundle deals', such as 2 for £30.00 or hardware and software packs, if returned separately, will result in the full price being charged for other items in the special offer - and the refund adjusted accordingly.'

tesco now out of stock

i got my wii on the off chance in HMV bexleyheath bout a week ago,
just went out one day, n they had 4 to sell,i snapped one up very quickly, they went in minutes

I'd be careful with Tesco as their website hasn;t got live stock status. It updates every hour. So they still take orders even though the item may be out of stock. I've had experience of this and it is now showing as a warning on http://www.wii-consoles.co.uk/. There's also a high chance that they'll make a pig's ear of any refund you're due. In my experience it took about a week for them to even admit they didn't have my Wii in stock. I'm not saying you won't get one, just be careful.

hmv last week had quit a few in there shops

I think there's been quite a big stock refresh at most retailers this month. Possibly to coincide with the release of that other console that I'm not gonna mention for fear of a flaming session.
