As the title says. This would appear to be one of the better Wii deals around at the moment as you get the games for less than £8 each. Even if you didn't like the games they could possibly be sold for around £15 each meaning you've gotten the will for £155.

LEGO Batman: The Video Game

LEGO Batman: The Videogame is the latest game from the award-winning team behind the LEGO Star Wars and LEGO Indiana Jones games. With trademark LEGO fun and charm, the game takes you into the world of the ultimate crime-fighting hero.

LEGO Batman: The Videogame brings the one-and-only Caped Crusader to life in a completely original storyline. Players will take control of the Dynamic Duo, Batman and Robin, to fight Gotham City?s most notorious criminals including The Joker, The Penguin, Catwoman, Scarecrow, Killer Croc and many more. The criminals have broken out of Arkham Asylum and are set to wreak havoc on the city.

Players will also be able to explore their wicked side and fight their way through the game as the villains, experiencing the game from a completely different point of view with all-new criminal objectives!

With a collection of high-tech suits, gadgets and cutting-edge vehicles on hand, players will be able to step into the unique LEGO Batman universe to bring super villains to justice - or, as the villains, to run amok in Gotham City!

LEGO Batman The Videogame for Wii Features:

Fight for justice as Batman and Robin or create chaos as The Joker, Catwoman and other villains, as you save or destroy Gotham City.

Rocket through sewers and bound across rooftops as you take the fight to the criminals across classic locations in Gotham City.

Fight on land, sea and in the air using a number of powerful Batman, Robin and villain-controlled vehicles, including the rocket-powered Batmobile, sleek Batboat and stealthy Batwing.

Enhance the abilities of the Dynamic Duo with all new power suits, including the Magnetic Suit.

Enjoy numerous game modes and levels:

Play through the game in Story Mode from both the hero and villain sides.

Replay any level in Freeplay Mode with any characters you?ve unlocked. Access previously hidden areas to find additional rewards and bonus content.

Collect LEGO studs and special LEGO bricks throughout the game to unlock tons of extra content including special power-ups and bonus levels.

LEGO Batman: The Videogame also features Danny Elfman?s iconic The Batman (1989) musical score.

WALL-E

Players will take control of WALL.E and EVE through a fast-paced adventure based on the upcoming Disney/Pixar film. The game will allow fans to relive some of the movie's most thrilling moments as they explore 10 worlds filled with non-stop action and adventure, along with head-to-head multiplayer challenges. Players will recognise the storyline, characters and key locations from the WALL.E film as they carry out intense missions, dodge dangerous enemies and navigate their way through a futuristic world. In addition, the game will contain new storylines and environments that movie-goers will not see in theatres.

Iron Man: The Video Game

Being a billionaire industrialist/genius/futurist/weapons manufacturer/playboy/alcoholic would be enough to keep most folks busy. Tony Stark, however, is not most folks. So, he's decided to become a superhero as well.

After a morally dubious spell as a weapons designer and manufacturer, Tony went and got himself kidnapped by terrorists and was forced to build all manner of nasty stuff for them. Cheeky chap that he is, however, he opted to build a suit of mechanical armour and fight his way out of there instead. Thus, a hero is born.

Gameplay focuses squarely on Iron Man: you won't have to waste a whole lot of screen time sorting out business deals as Stark. As old Shell Head, you'll take to land and sky in your conflict with Stark's rival, Obediah Stane.

Players will be able to trudge about on foot, hover and fly outright, and the game will require that they do all three. On top of that, you'll want to make use of Iron Man's trademark repulsor rays for carving up fighter jets and tanks.

As you go, you'll be able to unlock different versions of the armour that Stark has built over the years in the comics. You'd better believe it, there's a lot of 'em...

A piece of advice, though. Don't fly weapon-equipped billion dollar armour drunk. It didn't work out so well for Tony Stark.

Considering how more capable technically and from a cost to manufacture point of view the PS3 and 360 are compared to the Wii, I am amazed how people still consider the ~£200 a value proposition for the Wii which is in comparison dirt cheap technology. You guys are being had. And to make matters worse - what's being thrown in? Some mediocre movie tie-ins.

The ps3 is a good console BUT in my experience when i played it round my mates house it spent more time bloody loading updates than we did actually playing the thing!!! everytime we tried to play a game it wanted to download a blooming 400mb update!!! wtf..

The wii isn't a "gaming" console..more of a fun family entertainment system. The xbox and playstation are gaming consoles (imho). Isn't a new wii due soon? or has that been delayed?
#6
zetsurin is correct yet also missing the whole point - how much fun a game is barely relates to how much processing power the console has..

back on topic: i don't think £200 with 3 bad games is a good deal.. £200 with 3 games i or most people want (say Mario Galaxy, Mario Kart and something else good) I would vote hot.

the wii should be under £100 based on hardware imho but based on fun-per-£ i'd say it is worth as much as a 360/ps3.. but this topic isnt about that, its about similar deals.

This would be a good deal if more than 1 of the 3 free games was any good.

Only Lego Batman is worth getting. As another poster has said, you could trade the other 2, but they won't be worth that much anyway (seeing as they are poor games).

Haven't heated as I consider this to be a 'so-so' deal...

Any and all feedback welcome, thanks guys.

In response to one of the posters if anyone can post a current deal which has a wii and 3 top of the range games for under £200 then I'll happily expire this one and heat and rep the other.

I need to buy a wii this week and in the context of what other deals are around right this minute this seemed the best.

MY two sons are only 5 and 6 so to be honest they may get some enjoyment out of iron man and wall-e where other older people may not.
