Popped into the York store and they had this on offer for the same price as the Wii Sports only pack.

Had a check on the High Street and it seemed the best offer out there. Cost of game automatically deducted at the till.

Can't see this on their website so probably B&M only

Well spotted!

Still beaten by Blockbuster who for the same price let you choose any game that costs less than £35.
These offers change every week on Fridays, so it's always worth a look then.

Has this been posted here as I can't find it?. Not a problem for me as my son wanted Lego Indi but happy to link to this better deal if it helps others.

I have mentioned them a couple of times but everyone seems to like going to Game Zavvi etc.
As I say, the deals change every Friday in-store, so I check them first then compare to the others. Usually they cannot be beaten. Last week they were down to £169.99, but this week they are back to normal.
We shall see what Friday brings.

Do you advertise online what the weekly deals are, as I couldn't see anything?

Good price - thanks.

These things are getting much easier to find now - should increase the chances of a price drop pretty soon.

Big retailers won't drop their prices by much, as they're sorta obligated to Nintendo to at or close to RRP (otherwise they will find their shipments mysteriously put on hold). But definitely more cheap bundles will be the way forward.

I'm thinking more in terms of Nintendo dropping the price, actually. It's been rumoured for some time, and the only thing stopping it is the healthy sales position - no point in dropping the price if they're still selling.

If the sales position isn't so healthy, as may now be the case, particularly with an imminent recession, Nintendo could well drop the price to boost sales.

Good point. And plus with the xbox360 chasing at its heels with the recently upgraded model due to be released by end of the month, it looks like it might be more compelling to buy the xbox than the wii.

One went for £199 two days ago, brand new, complete with Sports and a golf game. Free Special Delivery too. No profit there for the seller after fees. They're pretty readily available most places now, so why anybody's still buying them on eBay, goodness knows.

I meant the game! I'm after a wii console, but not too fussed about the game.. was thinking how much I could sell it on eBay for to make the console cheaper

I'm gutted after seeing this. Phoned round all the shops last week and best deal I could negotiate was with Gamestation for Wii Package + Lego Indiana Jones + Free Remote Battery Pack for £189.99. Damn!

Thanks ninj4z!
Does anyone know if the printable WH Smith vouchers (posted somewhere on this forum some time ago) works? There was one a £5 voucher off a big shop I think...

Boonkoh, if your planning to buy this bundle and sell the game off, if you have a CEX shop close to you, try trade it in as it shows on their website they give £23 cash!

But I hate taking any games there, wanted to give a new game about 6 months back, they opened it even though it was sealed and also checked if the CD had any scratches! And after all this, they said we do not have cash at the moment try tromorrow!
