Ok, bare with me on this, but i'm pretty sure it's an amazing deal!

Wii console Sports is £179.99 on Additions Direct. Using the £30 off voucher ZG430, makes this £149.99. Minus 2.5% VAT reduction calculated at checkout = £3.75 off (which cancels the postage charge)

Place another order for Wii Play with controller for £34. Use £10 off voucher (ZQ137) and get it for £24 + £3.95 p&p. Minus VAT (60p)

Adding this all together makes £174 roughly. 8% quidco = £14.16....

..... making it a total of just under £160. I hope all my maths is correct!

EDIT: Cheaper and instock wii remote and play from LoveFilm Shop. Use CHRISTMAS10 code to get 10% off £25.14 total for wii play and remote.

Just create a new account - use mothers / wifes / brothers card details and give them the money if you've already used this offer ;-) Saved me £90 so far over 3 accounts....

That's not online...was it an instore manager's special?

Must have been managers special or instore only, which they do alot, I called my mate to check on line for it and there was not a deal like it so thats what i got, no sweating on delivery, how do you explain to a 5 year old about the symantics of delivery times.
If there was not a problem with the delivery time scale, this deal posted is amazing and I would have taken back the wii i purchased, so not wanting to poopoo this deal coz it is great.

BTW it was in the Altrincham branch, nr Manchester.

Additions are quoting earliest delivery date of Dec 29 for the Wii. Good price, but no good if you definitely want it in time for Christmas.

Also, that LoveFilm 10% off code isn't working. The code XMAS is still giving 5% off though.

Worst game console ever made. Bought for my son last Xmas, never seen a console binned so quick. A kids machine not for serious gamers. Buy a 360, or PS3.

Nobody is forcing you to play with it and I think everyone knows it's not a serious gaming console...well erxecpt you it seems :whistling:
#27
rubbish, of course its a serious games console, it's just different and unique from the other conventional ones. it's designed for fun and family game play where the ps3 and xbox are for hardcore single gamers really and online play. wii's are good and i'm going to get another one soon.
#28
Heat added, best deal around at moment - just bought console, wii play and controller for £184!!!
That rocks!!!!
#29
Would have been ideal but I can't take a chance of it not being here for Xmas...my 6 year old would be so disappointed!!
#30
Warming Check your card payment as I purchased a Wii console was quoted £149.13 with the £30 off. I checked my bank statement today and £179.13 was taken? Called customer services and was told I had to wait until console was delivered and then call them back to see if I can claim my £30 back? Canx order :x Will not use again!!!
#31
Just a heads up to those who've ordered a wii & or controller, the £30 & £10 discount are not applied to the original order as I just called after seeing the full amount being taken from my account.

They advised the the discounted money would be paid back to your card after the 14 day return period has passed.
#32
I'm cancelling my order now
#33
Just cancelled. Same with me
#34
Great deal...in theory.

Has anyone actually received the Wii for this price without the 14 day return period nonsense?

(Going through all the procedures up to giving them my card details and I have a delivery date of 17th December!)

So i guess i've got the £30 discount but will check credit card balance tomorrow.

I rang them up about this and they said that payment is taking longer then normal due to so many people using bogus voucher codes. Apparently these codes are supposed to be sent out on an indvidual basis and then they verify them.
#37
Why can't these companies just accept that websites like this exist and just honour the offers they make?

I wouldn't mind if it was a member-only deal mailed to existing customers, but this was specifically a deal to draw in new customers.

As things stand they've taken the full amount out of my account. I'll give them until the end of the day tomorrow to refund me the £30. If they don't sort it, I'm cancelling and picking one up from Asda.
#38
Just bagged a Wii for £149 delivered, thanks op.
#39
I've just got a Wii for £84 from Argos. Mind you, I did have £92 in Nectar points against it. :-D
#40
They're not honouring the £30 discount. I've cancelled, and they're now telling me the refund could take up to 7 days to reach my account. Funny that. There was no delay in them taking more money than I agreed to pay.

I'm not touching anything to do with Littlewoods any more - the number of deals I've tried with them, and not a single one has worked out.

Absolutely shocking company.
