my first thought was no, how would it charge ordinary rechargeables. unless there was a very clever battery cover integrated induction circuit. most likely, it comes with its own (not very good) battery pack.
i'll stick with my 2100mah instant rechargeables

hope you realise i was suggesting those as an alternative to this, you cant charge ordinary batteries with this device, need a regular AA charger.

Bought this I can confirm it comes with two 700mah batteries. Works fine, seems to be a good buy!
