Though it has a long delivery wait, to get this for £42.50 is a good price. For anyone wanting one quickly its probably not the best source but it is an excellent offer as a Christmas present.

Thanks - I based it on it saying 'Littlewoods Deals' and did not follow the link here - but opened a fresh browser and accessed it via quidco.

There is 8% cash back via quidco too.

This is good. It says 16 weeks delivery and you'd be lucky to find it in stock during that time anyway! At £30 off this is a fantastic offer, I can't believe some people are so impatient when they're unlikely to be able to get it sooner anyway!
#19
yep, littlewoods are b*stards when it comes to vouchers. a couple of months ago, ordered some shirts with discount. then recieved a letter askin for the full amount. luckily i never open the shirts.

ended up sending them back for a refund.

although their customer service was brilliant. very helping. too bad about the company they work for.

Ha, I wish! I'm just very into gaming and follow sales trends. It's been sold out since launch, Nintendo can't manufacture the boards fast enough and demand will only increase in the run up to Christmas. They still sell out of Wiis constantly in the US as well as Wii Fit. Yes, I'm a geek

Just tried to oder this and it says out of stock :-(

I had the good fortune, or otherwise, to be in Paris last week; the Champs Elysee Virgin Megastore had very many Wii Consoles and Wii Fits in your face as you walked in on the ground floor; and actually available to buy.:?

Yeah, mainland Europe doesn't seem to be having a problem at all. People were buying PAL Wiis off Amazon Germany last Christmas when they were very hard to get hold of here. I've seen pics of Spanish stores with piles of Wii Fits. Someone could make a killing if they bought them up and sold them in the UK as they're going for over £100 each on Amazon Marketplace.

I wish Nintendo would get their act together and sort out shipping the right number to each country but I guess it's hard for them to gauge the differences in demand. The Wii is successful everywhere but it hasn't been the runaway success it's been in North America and the UK in most of Europe.
#24
I used to think it was just rip off Britain until I saw that Paris petrol prices were 10% more than here.

I have had 2 since launch and loads more opportunity to get one, you just must be prepared to look hard for one and you will get one. They haven't been sold out since launch just hard to get hold of. i have seen many go on different forums including this one

i know plenty of people buying xmas presents now and if you waited till november/decmber to try and buy a wii fir for someone at xmas you would probably struggle and end up either not getting one or paying well over the odds

I'd be very surprised if littlewoods even kept to the 16 week delivery time for this item.

Why oh why shouldn't I mention Christmas because we live in a multi-cultural society?? How strange to say that? Let's cancel any event celebrating anything of relegious or cultural significance in case we offend someone eh?? Would that make you happy?

Yes it is only August and thinking of Christmas is not a daily occurence, but when you have family who live overseas ( up to 12 weeks surface mail) then some forward planning needs to be done.

What i was saying - badly, obviously - is that i don't want four and a half months of being encouraged to vote a deal l hot because it would make a gr8 christmas present....that's why I also said it would make a good eid present (8 december).

Guess you voted cold anyway as it would take 16 weeks from Littlewoods to you and another 12 to your family.

Err believe or not I also have family in this country (Although I have bought this for a family member in Ireland seeing as you seem to be interested) - as I have recently been posting out gifts for family in Austrailia and China I didn't think it so big a deal to also get things ordered for family in this country as well.

This is definately a hot deal, and too many people cut of their noses to spite their faces because of the word Littlewoods.
