I can't understand the cold votes! Seems a good price to me. Heat added for you
#2
7% with quidco too
#3
Good price. Heat added too, won't cancel pre-order with Game just yet though just incase they cancel all pre orders just like Whsmith did couple of weeks ago. Don't forget Quidco for another 7% off, makes it £55.80
#4
I've ordered one so fingers crossed they don't cancel orders like WHSmiths.
#5

This game always make me chuckle....they stole that title from Halfords!

Just checked my quidco and it has been validated but only for £49.64. Any ideas why? So they are only giving me £3.47
#17

It might be if Tesco put the VAT in price you only get quidco on the part before VAT
#19
Yup, quidco only £3.47

On quidco is states that tesco only pays cashback based on the order value excluding VAT and delivery charges (calculated as £5 per order). Can't work out exactly how they arrived at the figure you mentioned but this will be why.

Yup, delivery at £1.64 then the ex vat price of £58.33 works
#22
Ordered but had to pay £1.64 delivery - couldn't see anywhere to insert "FREEDEL"
#23
Let's see how long this remains on pre-order? Since having WHSmiths and ChoicesUK cancel on me
#24
There is a button that says select to enter any coupons, e-vouchers etc on the last page before order confirmation. Free Delivery code goes in there.

Just ordered - thanks - will hold onto my Game pre-order as well, just in case!
#25
Ordered and voted hot!
#26

#27
ordered! Hope they can fulfil the orders!
thanks

I'm probably (no certain) i'm wrong here, but just thought i'd ask.
Does the £3.?? Tesco sim card not work on this deal for free delivery & then return the sim for your money back ???
#29
So what kinds of games do you get with this? I remember with Wii Tennis I just used to sink onto the sofa and the only part of me moving would be my wrist flicking left and right. Admittedly after I'd been playing on and off a couple of weeks and having crazy 50 shot rallies etc to get my score to over 2000 my arm muscles did feel a little sore but bigger. And then you get the people at the other extreme, doing huge swings and giving each other black eyes!
#30
Does tesco take the money staright away for pre-orders or do they wait untill the item is ready to be shipped?

EDIT: Don't worry had a look on their site and it says:

"When is my credit/debit card charged?

Your card will be charged when the product is dispatched. Since it can take a few days for your order to arrive it is possible that your card will be debited before you receive the product."
#31
just checked youtube..this looks so cool! shame i don't have a wii!!

cause tesco are a **** company......ordered 3 items in the past 3 months - had 3 probs
one took 6 weeks
2nd failed to show
3rd item - heard nothing for 2 weeks, cancelled it, then 2 days after cancellation they sent it....took a further 3 weeks to get my money back...
never again

in the same time period ive had over 100 deliveries from other sites - only 2 probs
#33
can you get a hardcore work out with this or is it just for the girls?
banned#34
i would use the term 'girls' quite loosely in in this context, any one who gets one is for a bit of fun, ideal for the kids on rainy days, when they get friends round, and then maybe for the adults to take over when they gone to bed. i would say these sort of addons make nintendo's market for the wii sustainable....i mean how many other consoles are still selling in a fashion which increases there market share daily after nearly two and a half years of the initial product launch ?

i will be getting one, but will hold back becasue as we all very well know the initial prices are always inflated, this is what will happen

nintendo push back release date for uk - already happen - creating masses to post on these sort of boards deals with marginally difference in price

released initially on 25th - unmanageable demand created prior

product all over the news and maybe on the front page of a paper - product shortage

product on ebay selling for stupid prices - already the jap & ntsc versions on for £80 +

product back into stock once nintendo gauge true public demand & brainwashing goes to plan (available in most stores - those with a pedigree in consoles such as game will be prioritised deliveries)

all shops will order copius amounts to get volume discounts after seeing the shortage and potential sales opportunities

then stores will compete for price even if it means loss leader approach - this is when if you get the timing right you will more than likely get it for a good price, probably £40-£50

nintendo wont be happy with the depreciation the competition causes and maybe the penny will drop for some directors who run tesco..game...etc so then just before summer there will be a shortage again...thus giving the stores a chance to inflate prices and stabilise....till winter shortage

if all goes to plan nintendo will consider a strategy to do a bundle deal of wii fit + wii sports + wii console for something like £230...then sales go through the roof

overall result the console is again ones of the highest market share. top bods at nintendo will then put plans to make a wii 2, with hdmi capability and the cycle repeats it self.

i got woke up today at 5am by the little one so thought id have a rant about something b4 going into work!!!:whistling:

my arm muscles did feel a little sore but bigger. !

You'd only really be able to get your arms more 'toned' by wafting them about on the Wii, you need to actually lift a heavy weight and break the muscle down to increase muscle mass and the weight of the Wii remote isnt enough for this.

But there is no doubt that when playing games like Mario Olympics you can certainly get out of breath!!...not really convinced you can actually get fit using the Wii, but i suppose you could use the analogy that something is better than nothing but people need to get away from this premise that the Wii is going to be the saviour of all fat kids in the world, it simply isnt...its not a replacement for kids running round a football field for 2 hours.

Ordered around 10:30pm last night but Quidco still not tracked. I thought it generally tracked straight away with these guys?

Anyone else's not tracked yet?

TIA Chocs

#39
Just ordered, many thanks.

tesco service is 50/50. get this, i ordered a ds game and kept gettin 'delayed from supplier' emails for 3 months. i gave up on this and cancelled and i got a quick response back (same day) saying i couldnt cancel as its been dispatched. i had to send it back because i already bought from else where and when i sent it back to tesco they denied receiving it!! never saw my money after various emails back and forth.
