picked mine up this mornig and filled the car up with unleaded.

told the kids they are not allowed to play with it till i get back from work tonight hahahah bad father :)
#3
Got mine in Sainsburys after the local Tesco had sold out, save a few quid as well on a tank of fuel so definately a bonus!
#4
I think they should of sold them on a weight basis's, whereby you had to send in proof of your weight before you got one.

Theres gunna be lots of fatties jumping around this weekend so my advice would be to stay in and secure all your valuables as the UK is about to be hit with a mini eruption this weekend!
#5
Even beta if you have a staff discount card.

How lucky you must be to not be a 'fattie'. We may be fat but with wii fit we can lose weight..you'll always be a c***
#7
I got mine from asda at midnight, their store had 60, was not 60 people there so they may have some left, I was expecting a sellout everywhere with all the hype surrounding it!

xx

lol and it makes it worse that he's posted that same post quite a few times.

lmfao. Best come back ever.

I picked mine up in Tesco at midnight last night for £64.71. However, a quick wander round Nottingham at lunchtime today reveals that the anticipated stock shortages haven't materialised - certainly not here anyway. Every store I went in (Gamestation, Zavvi, Game) had plenty in stock.

The only thing you're guaranteed to lose is the £60 odd quid it cost to buy it... :whistling:

Got 2 from my local tesco in bursledon in southampton last night for £64.71 i was hoping there be sold out by now.. there was just over about 10 people there we were there first and brought 2 then the next person in queue brought i think over 10.. there was a fellow HUKD/MSE mate there but i don't know your username so if you see this :)
#15

I nearly went there - but knew JL were going to go live on Friday with it and thought Id risk that instead...
#17
i ordered at tesco direct £64.71 and used £5 off ((£5 off when you spend £20 on Direct).

final price £59.71
#18
So they're encouraging you to get more fit by making you use your car more often?
#19
got ours using vouchers from tesco so all in all £40.00 - Result!!
#20
Has anyone who ordered from Tesco (pre-order) had theirs yet? Apparently they were dispatched yesterday. Dunno if mines come till I get home from my lazy office chair.
#21
scousemicky, mine was dispatched at something like 9.30 last night, turned up about 8.30 this morning from Parcelforce - can't wait to get home and play with it now!
#22
It's not the Wii Fit that is likely to cause an issue with this deal up here in Scotland...It'll be the the shortage of petrol!!
#23
so wheres the best place to buy now

i think tesco online are out of stock?
so is sainsburys the best bet??

thanks folks
#24
I bet everywhere sells out and they become as impossible to buy them from the shops as Mario Kart is, surprise surprise though there'll be a shed load on ebay tonight.
#25
My idiotic partner pre-ordered 5! She thought that her so called 'friends' at work would buy them off her and they haven't!
So we've got 4. Not sure if anyone lives local enough (Selby, N.Yorkshire) from Leeds or surrounding who'd like one at the weekend, if they've sold out. otherwise I'll be sending them back. They were all at the £64 sainsbury's price. I'd say putting £5 on for HUK members would be fair? whatever, I don't need 4.

Thanks for that, i've got a Parcelforce depot about 30 seconds walk away from me lol, so if they've left a card i'll collect it in about 45 mins.

If it helps anyone ... Sainsburys Chelmsford had these in stock around 2pm
#28
A chap at work went to Tesco's (seacroft, Leeds) and they had sold out at dinner time. If that saves anyone a trip.

I wouldn't embarrass myself by asking for an extra fiver on top of cost price from a HUKD member for something like this.

Take them back to the shop. Or sell them on eBay if you really want to make a profit..

cheers, looks like back to the shops it is anyway. I wasn't aware of the selling rules on the forSale/Trade bit, which is my own fault for not reading.
From about an hour ago the number selling on ebay seems to have gone up by 50, I wonder if the hole out of stock thing, might just be a flash in the pan.

There are plenty in my local shops, woolworths had lots and no-one was showing any interest at all.

That might all change by the end of the weekend, but I do think nintendo may have got the pricepoint of wiifit slightly wrong in the uk.

Given the time of year and the current financial situation for a lot of people I think £50 might have been closer to the mark.

Just picked one up in the Coventry Canley store and they still had some in stock
#33

thanks for that, will go soon when the A45 a bit quieter!

Sainsburys Wakefield didnt have a single copy and Morrisons had sold out, but Toys'r'Us had a load of units at £69.99. I ended up paying full price, but my wife and I are loving it already. Its perfect for the geeky couple who dont exercise enough.
