We've all heard the complaints of Wii Tennis Elbow by now, and more than a few of us have found ourselves embarrassingly out of breath after a session on Wii Sports Boxing. Not wanting to let that go to waste, Nintendo has taken advantage in dishing up Wii Fit, complete with a new peripheral called the Balance Board.

The game aims, in a nutshell, to get you fit.

There are more than 40 different types of fitness training falling under four categories: 'Aerobic Exercise', 'Muscle Conditioning', 'Yoga Poses' (which sound thoroughly treacherous to us) and 'Balance Games'. The games make use of both the Wii Remote and Nunchuck combo and the Balance Board. Yes, the Balance Board...

A new peripheral, the Balance Board is set on the floor and stood upon. It's equipped with pressure sensors, so players will be able to engage in activities from trying to head footballs to downhill skiing. It comes bundled with Wii Fit in one tidy package.

In addition to all the exercising treachery mentioned above, players will be able to gauge their body mass index and find out their fitness age.

One thing's for sure, it's going to be a hit with the ladies (and chaps who want to beef up before stepping out). It's also a thorough kick in the Body Mass Index for all the naysayers who read The Daily Mail and only see games as 'murder simulators'.

I understand people may want this but I dont really think this is a deal. Its the this price in most stores and people have put posts on today detailing where it is in stock.

I'm not so sure john_mac83.

If I had tickets to the Champions League final and only wanted face value, wouldn't that be a good deal?

These are now being posted on e-bay at over £100 and I even saw an ad on HUKD for a Wii Fit for £90

I understand what your saying but this is about the 4th post today saying where you can get it from for £69.99. Im not saying its not useful information but maybe if there was just one post where people could see where this was in stock, would be a lot easier for everyone to keep track.

Gamestation won't let you buy this individually - only as part of a bundle it seems. Lame!
#8
Sorry, items marked with # cannot be ordered individually. They may only be purchased as part of a discounted bundle/combo.
#9
I spent ages looking for the checkout button the noticed it had to be part of a bundle. The checkout button at the top just kept sending me in a loop.
#10
Gamestation regulary bundle hard to obtain items with other stuff to maximise sales unfortunately. Cold because of that.

Yeah I agree that this could use a place of it's own as these deals are being voted cold just because people are sick of hearing about Wii Fit and I can fully understand how sick people must be of hearing about it if they don't even have a Wii.
It's almost like the 'in' christmas toy :-D
