THAT IS BLOODY CHEAP! Shame no Costco near me. I have just bought one from Argos - £95 with one extra (rubbish) game.
#2
really??

Were there many in stock? Was this a brand new board?

You say it was a board and a game. What game came with it?

This seems to be almost too good to be true?
#4
Cheers - I will phone the Reading Costco tomorrow to see if they have any in stock

Great price - but need a bit more info on the deal as asked above, particularly:

- approx. how many were on the shelves?
- what game comes with it?
- can you add a photo to the deal of the board / game / till receipt (not suggesting you're wrong, but the more info, the hotter your deal will get IMHO).
#6
I think OP means the Wii Fit game that comes in the box

If this is real, this is HOT HOT HOT!

Shame that they'll all be out of stock as soon as the store opens tomorrow....

You need to have your own company to shop at costco ? Not open to general public. These will sell out to ebay powersellers who will sell them on ebay at £110 each.....................probably
#9
Was In Edinburgh Branch Yesterday and they didn't have any, but that branch is in the middle of a re-vamp, so it's all a bit up in the air.
#10
...dont have a costco card :( not fair :(
#11
how is this hot no proof as yet

You don't need to own a company, many people such as NHS employees, Police and lots of professions can apply for personal membership.
#13
I got one at this price when the Croydon store opened recently:gift:. Can confirm the price as being correct - the hard bit (as anywhere) is finding one in-stock.

You don't need a business and they don't go for £110 on ebay anymore.

I am totally lost as to what is going on with Wii fit?

I bought Wii fit the day of release for £55 - 10% student discount, so ended up being £50

I then got £49 off in trade in and reward points so I gave them £1 cash in total lol, the woman in queue next to was quite shocked at me paying just £1 xD

Wii fit should not be costing more then £59.99 and if it does the company is trying to rip you off.

and you need to run a business for Makro and Costco, they are not deals they are 'Wholesale' what on earth is the point in posting this when hardley anyone can make use of it, less then 1% of hukd will be business owners.
#16
wii fit is a fairly poor "game" anyway

YOU DO NOT NEED TO OWN A BUSINESS TO GO TO COSTCO. I DO NOT OWN A BUSINESS AND I HAVE A CARD. Why the hell do people think they know best when there are plenty here with no business and a membership card.

Also.... what is there to be lost about? It's a Wii fit. You give costco money and they give it to you.

Different people like different games. I'm sure I'd find some of your games poor too.

you dont need to own a business to have a costco card, I work for local authority and have bought a membership with them, I believe NHS employees can too, and I know there are other professionals who can join.
as for the deal, its brill......just need to find a store with one in stock now!

Correct, :thumbsup:I have a 'spouses' card, Mrs.OB works in the NHS and is the main Card holder.

often COSTCO puts a limit on the amount of 'offers' you can purchase if the price is really hot - thats has happened in our local Aberdeen store before . . . . . If they are in stock at that price, chances are you will only be able to buy 1 or perhaps 2 at the most - not in any one transaction but in TOTAL as it flags up on your membership card.

Can confirm that its surprising how many CAN obtain a COSTCO card - ask your employer, what have you to lose apart from a wee membership fee . . . . . . you gain that back in a few purchases - or with the cheap meals and free refills!

Cracking deal if you can get - would be nice to see a store photo from the OP . . . . . . will check tomorrow

why expired?

Costco is an exclusive wholesale cash and carry membership warehouse club and is not open to the general public. Membership is required. You are eligible for trade membership if you are a bonafide business owner/manager who can provide evidence of trading.

No one said it was open to the general public. I got a card because Costco came to my former employer and was selling memberships. Though my wife would have been elligible as she's a teacher and that's on the list of professions which are allowed memberships.
#25
COSTCO individual membership is open to you if .............

you are employed in or retired from
Banking/finance
Civil servant
education
fire/rescue
Insurance
Local government
medical
police force
solicitor or barrister

or you are qualified as

chartered architect/engineer/surveyor
dentist
media - press card holder
opticiam
pharmacist
qualified accountant.

If you phone before you go, they will check stock for you - but they will probably ask for your membership number before they go and hunt/check the computer system.............

I don't believe I come under any of those and can still get it via the company I work for Fujitsu. (Yes they do work in some of those sectors but its company wide eligibility)

They have a employee discount scheme run by http://www.motivano.co.uk/default.html so I would guess that any other company who also uses motivano for employee discount will have this too.

Shame I never applied for costco card as not a chance I'll get one to use at the Reading store in time :(
#27
FYI

there are none in Aberdeen (westhill) Costco

I registered with HUKDs today just so I could pass on my thanks to jonoy2k .. I am lucky to be able to shop at COSTCO as I am one of the listed occupations .. managed to pick up the Wii Fit at Croydon this afternoon.
It will just round off my wife's birthday tomorrow as she thinks that it is out of stock everywhere. So Thank you on behalf of a happy OH
#29
None in at Derby store : - ((
#30
I would also like to thank Jonoy2k.

I have been looking for a Wii Fit since my sister brought the family a Wii for Xmas. Everywhere is sold out (unless you want an overpriced bundle).

I haven't got a Costco membership, but I do know a relative who does. She kindly went up to Croydon and picked on up for me. :) .

I rang up yesterday after lunchtime to ask about stock availablity. I was told that there were 70. By 5'o clock when my relative brought mine, there were 4.

H O T T hot!!!
#31
Any news about reading costco???

What do I look like? A Cosctco stock check system? Call up Costco and see if they can check for you. I'm not doing the hard yards for you.....
