Hey, for anyone wanting to get a copy of Wii Fit, I tried Zavvi in Sheffield at the weekend and managed to get a copy. Not only this, they were allowed me to get student discount on this making it £63!

They had loads of them stacked up behind the tills so hopefully, most Zavvi stores should have these in stock.

Hope this helps for anyone wanting to get one for christmas.

Yep, this is cold there is stock everywhere!!

Just checked five major online retailers and none have in stock, unless bundled into expensive packages.

Plenty of rumours around about Xmas shortages still. If you see one anywhere at £69, buy it!

Its the classic Nintendo move, keep stock back to create hype then flood the market at Christmas, if you think your going to make a big profit on these be careful as around Christmas there will be loads available, and you will be selling them at a loss just to get rid!!

I voted hot because it took me months to find one.

Classic Nintendo move?
Erm did you not see last year when there were no Wii's available apart from online retailers and Ebay sellers who were making upto £100 per console?

I haven't been able to find any randomly available in stores in the Cheshire/Merseyside area so tips like these are still hot, not everyone is so lucky as to be tripping over them on the high street. I stalked Amazon for mine.

Yeah, I'm quite surprised this has been voted cold. I couldn't get one online anywhere for this price and I had to wait and stalk the high street to find one. Oh well, some first post!

Ok well it was different down south as there was only sporadic stock avilable until around march of this year.
Even after xmas the demand was great with Ebay Wii's still selling for way over the RRP.

Absolute rubbish, it was well into 2008 before the shops had any stock that stayed on the shelves for more than an hour.

Well I know for a fact where I live (Sheffield) the week upto Xmas there was loads around, as for the Wii Fit it will be the same story.

I was lucky enough to get one last week from Amazon by way of a link through here.
Seems the South has a problem getting anything Wii, last year was the same I spent weeks looking for one and in the end had to pay slightly over the odds.( Not through fleabay though!):)
