Well Nintendo have Officially released a Date and Price for the Nintendo Wii Fit this price includes the fit board as well, i would get your pre-orders in now as stock will 100% sure dry up.

Wii Fit comes bundled with the Wii Balance Board, an accessory developed exclusively for the Wii console that will have a far-reaching impact for all who use it. It's innovative, exciting and most of all fun and simple for all to use. It is a pressure sensitive, wireless balance board that goes on the floor - so someone can stand on it in front of the TV. It senses weight and shift in balance in any direction and therefore by standing on the Wii Balance Board during activities allows players to follow along to movements ensuring they have full control of the on-screen activities. This allows personal improvement goals to be set to effectively help you and your family to train and stay fit...

Increasing your awareness of the importance that fitness has on everyday life and keeping yourself and family motivated should be easier with Wii Fit. The programme allows up to 8 people to track progress and monitor performance. Once you insert the Wii Fit Disc into a Wii console, a new channel - Wii Fit Channel can be added to your Wii Menu system. Once the Wii Fit Channel is added it enables users to not have to insert the Wii Fit Disc into a Wii console in order for the Wii Balance Board to scale your weight to calculate your BMI, measure the center of your bodily balance and conduct a balance test in order to calculate your Wii Fit Age. It also allows you to monitor how long you did which category of exercise for in one day, all in the comfort of your own home and without the need to keep inserting the Wii Fit Disk into your Wii console each time.

to be honest, i think the powerplay price is a misprice and will not be honoured

£70 is more than i certainly expected it to be but i'll still be buying it, just not at that price.
fingers crossed for powerplay!

Do people honestly believe Powerplay will sell these for £34.99? Get real !! Play.com are more often than not very reliable so chances are they'll have it in stock when they say they will. But then I am hedging my bets and ordered from both. Voted hot

The powerplay was not a official price, the release date and price was only released yesterday, so my guest all orders on powerplay will be canceled under there terms and conditions etc.

Nintendo prices title in UK; game and Balance Board to cost €89.99 in Europe
Nintendo has given an official price to its much-anticipated Wii Fit: £69.99 in the UK and €89.99 in wider Europe.

The title – which will released on Friday, April 25th – contains software and Nintendo’s innovative Balance Board
According to Eurogamer, Nintendo announced the price of the product just minutes ago.

The title calculates players’ body mass index and offers various exercises to help get them ‘fit’ and lose weight.

70 pound is a joke
#10
Can’t find it on powerplay direct, voted hot as this will be impossible to get if not pre-ordered.
#11
we have ordered one from play ,not too pleased with the price hike but we are going thirds on it so not too bad . cant wait !!
also have preorder from shopto and power play and waiting on argos , thought best to cover all retailers so we dont miss out as think its sure to be a big sell out nowing nintendos track record for supply and demand.

That would be price fixing and that would be illegal in the UK :whistling:. I think what you mean is that the Nintendo Recommended Retail Price (RRP) is £69.99, what shops actually charge is up to them.

hells bells - 70 quid - seems a bit steep to me .......

was going to get this for a laugh ..... not so sure now
#14
Are they going to release WiiFreshAir? WiiCalorieCounter? WiiStopStaringAtTheTVAndLeaveTheHouseSometimes? :giggle:
#15
You need a Wii console for it to work right. So 70 quids for a Balance Board and its software does that sound worth ?
#16
Seventy quid?? What a rip off. It sells for about $75 in Japan. As usual, we get totally stiffed in the UK.

Shopto.net had it on pre-order for £29.99! :)

About the price normally charged when you think about it (£40 for a full price game £30 for a wiimote) If thats the rrp then some site might knock a tenner off it
Can any one remember when games were £1.99 and took 15 mins to load ?

Well seeing as my order has already been charged for im fairly confident i will get my two copies for 65 (e credit)

i thought they dont normally charge for preorders but even if they refund me i think they will give me more e credit like they did last time with the halo 3 legendary edition when it was not in stock

Yeah I never said I'd ordered it, I just said it was available. Even if I had ordered it, it's not like they're going to sell it to me for £30, if it's £70, are they.............................
#28
just read their faqs and apparently if you sign up for verified by visa which i did they charge you upon confirmation

So i guess whenever powerplay have a misprice its better to order like this

Glad i did and even though its not guaranteed i will get it powerplay are usually good with misprices from what i remember (blue dragon?)

I pre-ordered from shopto.com for £29.99 but received an email yesterday to say price will now be £69.99. I decided to cancel my pre-order!

I think some people are a bit rude. Atleast with this (compared to a walk) you wont get stabbed, run over or mugged. Its more entertaining, safer, and a walk doesnt calculate my BMI the last time I checked??

If its too expensive for you don't buy it. easily solved.
