a compatible board, not a nintendo original, still good all in price.

Really? How much of difference in game play will it make?
#6
its a good job someone said, i thought it was the original xx

I ordered an unofficial wii mote and nunchuck from Hong kong and they work just as fine as the originals.
I wonder if the same is the case for this board? Has anyone tried it? It's certainly a great price if it is as good as the original board :)

would stick with Nintendo board from Asda - not much more

well i bought my balance board with the original wii fit for 40 quid from sainsburys before Christmas, and wii fit plus is only about 15 so frankly, this ain't a great deal comparably but might be decent compared to whats available now. would prefer Nintendo made equipment tho.

I wish people would stop banging on about one off deals they managed to get ages ago. None of my local Sainsburys or Asda's ever have this in stock so it is a good deal for me. I don't even care that it is a 3rd party board, I kind of like the blue bits myself. Thanks to the OP and heat added.

And I ordered 3 non-Nintendo brand Wii Remote / Nunchuck bundles, and two of the bundles broke down in a matter of days.

Especially for accessories on which people stand, solid equipment is really required.
#13
erm.. i think you'll find all deals are one off.. that's the way it works. And it wasn't ages ago, it was a few weeks, and it's not my fault if you live in the **** end of no where.

Frankly a 3rd party board is never going to be made as well as a first party one. From my experience with 3rd party console accessories over the years, they almost always suck. 80%+ are just terrible. And the rest are barely passable. You get what you pay for.

Is this compatible with the black Wii console as I've read the White remote is not compatible with the black console?

I orderd mote+nunchuck for HK, not very good, better off buying original from UK sotres,

Got one yesterday from John Lewis for £69.00, which was price match with Asda. It is original with the game.

I thought the color dosen't matter, it will work with both. I have got a black wii and am awaiting the delivery for white mote. Appreciate if somebody can confirm that it will work on black wii.
#21
yes i can confirm it works.

colour of outer plastic is not at all linked with the internals.

whoever has been spreading that needs a slap.

That's what I thought but I was told as they are newer they wouldn't work.

No, the only thing that is different is the black remote usually comes with the wii Motion Plus attachment, but this would only affect games that use Motion Plus...

Furthermore, you can buy the motion plus to attach to the bottom of the white wii remotes..

Is it officially licensed? Nintendo could do a microsoft and block it or something :)
#31
surely if it breaks its easy enough to take back to store??? i ordered this before i found the posting so didnt know it wasnt the proper one. for £60 you can bet i will be keeping the receipt and if it breaks it goes back

is the weight sensor to the same amount?? ie 300lb?
#32
I nearly bought this one yesterday, then realied it was not a genuine Nintendo item. Having looked for reviews and found none on this item went for the Asda £69.71 (I can confirm there are hardly any in Asdas, luckily found the last one in a store nearby yesterday)

I don't think there can be much to the board to be honest just a board with 4 sensors on the feet and some wireless bits. I suspect the Wii does most of the clever stuff. I could be wrong of course - but if you buy it and it is no good you can return it to your nearest Tesco and get your money back. N ot sure about the ebuyer one as that maybe more difficult to return if its no good.
#33
I've gone for it

many thanks OP

Ordered, thanks.

For that price, it's surely worth a go;-)
