"Wii Fit Plus (Wii)" [Video Game]
Estimated arrival date: November 04 2009 - November 11 2009
So NOT 31st Oct as website says!!
From Amazon:
We do our best to accurately estimate when items will be dispatched from our fulfilment centres and from other sellers on Amazon.co.uk. Estimated dispatch dates are based on several factors, including your destination address, how quickly we can obtain and assemble items for dispatch and whether you have requested that we group your items into as few deliveries as possible.
Our estimated dispatch dates are generally a range of dates. It is entirely possible for an item that has not been dispatched by the beginning of the date range to still arrive within our delivery estimate.
We calculate delivery estimates by taking our estimated dispatch dates and adding the time it takes a package to travel from our fulfilment centre to your destination address.
Sometimes we'll update our delivery estimates based on the most recent information we have, so please remember to check your estimated delivery date in Your Account.
Note: the total delivery time (from when you place your order to when it arrives) for UK Super Saver Delivery is 2-3 days longer than for First Class delivery. Super Saver Delivery orders can take longer to leave our fulfillment centre.

Thats arrival date not dispatch date. You chose free shipping which takes a few more days than first class. Choose first class and it will be closer to the dispatch date.
Dispatch estimate: 30 Oct 2009
Delivery estimate: 4 Nov 2009 - 6 Nov 2009
does this include the "vitality sensor" which is a ground breaking device
No, it doesn't.
I can't find the link but I remember reading that the vitality sensor will be released next year with its own software and mentioned something about measuring your relaxment levels.
The big talk on the internet forums is that it could be used for lie detector testing, how useful!
As much as I love Nintendo, Wii Fit Plus seems like a cheap cash-in. It's got all the same workouts that the original game had, but just includes about 15 new mini-games.

Have to pretty much agree, the games look mildly fun for about 5 minutes but that'd be about it for most people.
If they put some of this stuff into real games and made it multiplayer then it would be good.
Yes, after trying out EA Active for last few days I must agree with comments above that it certainly seems to be a far superior workout to any I did on WiiFit and judging by that preview video that's not going to change either.
Never did I finish on the WiiFit and have a full sweat on or feel the aching in my arms and legs the following day like I do with EA Active. Just my opinion

What you have said is so true, but in some sort of defence of Wii Fit, it was never marketed as a cardio workout that EA Active was, and is useful in posture control and balance unlike anything else.
To be honest though, I am starting to get tired of all the peripheral add ons for the Wii.
