Wii FreeLoader £5.99 Delivered

Wii FreeLoader is really easy to use. Simply insert your FreeLoader disc and load it in the usual way. When the drive stops, eject the Wii FreeLoader disc and insert the game, which then loads and plays just like it would on its own region of Wii. It's as simple as that!

Bargain i payed £10 for this

If I'm not mistaken, I believe the new update from Nintendo renders this disc unuseable.
So if you keep your Wii up to date, this is likely to be an expensive shiney frisbee :x

Yes - I just went and found some more info on this item. Found this quote from someone on Amazon. I guess you have a choice on whether you really need to upgrade the firmware.....

"If You upgrade the Wii firmware to the latest 3.3 update sent on June 18th then you Freeloader will be disabled.Either don't upgrade firmware or don't buy this. !!! "

P.S. Still think this is hot...

Expensive frisbee is right. Plus what is there that is worth importing? Most were afrter Brawl but thats out now.

i think the any new games (ie Mario Kart) also insist on updating before playing anyway

if only there was another way

That is interesting although once I put Zelda I think I'd end up playing it for 10 hours before I remembered what I was doing. :-)

What I am interested is what happens if you don't have the Wii connected to the internet? It is a games console and not an internet machine but I've had several gamea that insist on a firmware update before starting.

Like I said, many of the Nintendo big games (Mario Kart, Brawl (i think)) will automatically upgrade the firmware from the disc.

Ahh! Updates from the disc. That makes sense. I assumed it updated from the internet but of course they would have put the latest upgrade on the disc and only upgrade if a lower version is installed on the Wii!

Thanks! :-D

Add a keyboard and it's a surprisingly capable internet machine though :)

Its pathetic that they can sell things that attempt to artificially inflate what you pay via 'regions'.

HOT product though!
