Released 18th May

Review : Join the battle to maintain the universal balance between darkness and light with characters from the popular animated TV series.

Ang never dreamed that he would be the next Golden Dragon. He always assumed his twin sister, Ling, the best fighter of the Dragon Dojo run by their mentor Master Chin, was next in line. Ling is deeply humiliated by Ang's success, and swears to take vengeance upon those who betrayed her, starting with her brother and Master Chin.

The lure of evil power from the Zodiac Master proves too much for Ling. Her hatred leads her into darkness and she becomes the dreaded Shadow Dragon. Enjoy the epic tale of the Legend of the Dragon in this combat action/adventure game which combines the thrilling fighting sequences and compelling story line of the TV series.

Key Features: 18 characters from the series are playable in this game - each character is capable of transforming! Players can move around freely in the outside universe or place of combat. * All the important places from the cartoon series are present in the game as combat arenas * 8 different game modes ensure hours of challenging game-play and there are 3 multi-player modes * 3D animations true to the grafic style of the TV series * The game takes full advantage of the new and cool Wii features such as: The Nunchunck is used for character directional moves, The Wii Remote is used for all movements related to fighting and the spell sytem uses the gyroscopic system of the Wii Remote!

Maybe a mis-price but maybe worth a go?

P.S Don't know how good the game is going to be ut Im listing it here cos it seems really cheap :)

Thanks

Great price Col, anyone know if this is any good? Completed Zelda recently and running low on games that you can get really involved with...

Not released till 18th May and no reviews whatsoever. It might be cheap, but no reviews rings alarm bells in my head. Usually the only reason a game hasn't been reviewed this close to release is that the developers know it's a pile of poop and will get slated, so they don't send it in for review.

Good price indeed, but avoid until a decent review is posted is my opinion.

Gamefactory are renowned for publishing budget games, I think this is supposed to be a £20 release but play.com have got the price wrong. As a rule, games published by Gamefactory are made by studios with low-budgets, so you're looking at games with an average of 65%. I've not played this myself, but I've played so many games published by Gamefactory that I've seen a pattern emerge. At this price though, it might be worth checking out, and trading it in for a similar price if it's rubbish. :)

You can check out the game site and the screenshots here - looks like a beat 'em up to me.

You would have to be pretty desperate to get this game.

If you want a beat em up, just get Soul Calibur 3 for the GameCube. Im sure it wold also be a lot cheaper.

Thanks for all the responses.

If Play have this priced wrong at £34.99, so has everybody else?

shopto - £32.99
choicesuk- £39.99
Game- £39.99
simplygames- £39.99
gameseek- £36.96

Maybe RRP is £39.99 and Powerpalydirect that have their pricing wrong? Makes more sense.

This game is aimed squarely at the kids market - see the quote about this release on IGN.com - "While the Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation 3 next-gen consoles have really captured the imagination of the more mature gamer, at Game Factory we're really excited about the potential impact Nintendo's Wii will have on the children's market, as this is obviously our forte."

The screenshots I have seen look particularly shady - looks like it could be a bit of a stinker........cheap though.........

Having looked at the cost in America, it's only about $5 cheaper than regular high-scoring games (like Zelda) at $39.99 - so maybe it is a full cost title here in Europe. In any case, Play.com and the rest of the competition still have a good month to bring their prices down - or powerplay have a month to put their prices up before this game is released. Unless you order it now. Then they might be obliged to sell you it at that price. If you really want it! But if this game is £39.99 then you can expect to get around £25 trade at GameStation, so there might be a potential profit in this one anyway. :?
