It looks like the majority of the £19.99 games at Argos are selling at £30 for 2.

The one exception I've seen so far is Link's Crossbow Training

Eledees
Dewy's Adventures
Tomb Raider Anniversary
Call of Duty 3
Super Monkey Ball etc all included

Had a look.

They have the Wii Table Tennis, so at £15 (assuming you find another game) then a good deal.

Voted Hot!

Cant get the table tennis to work for me :-( and its not on the list of games on the special offer. Still some good buys though.

Put table tennis and big catch bass fishing into basket and came to £30
also came to £30 with monkey ball banana blitz. or if you put 2 table tennis in it also works.
May work with others.
Will it be this price in store? as it says nothing about 2 for £30, just either half price skins or 1/3 off cheat disc.

Crossbow training dont seem to work in offer.

Wouldn't mind picking up Tomb Raider for £15 but need to find something to go with it.

Just get two of them, as CeX pays £26 cash for it on the Wii, means you can get your copy for £4 :)

Mike..(...is now getting showered and off to get cooking Mama and Tomb raider :P)

Why not have a look :w00t:;-)

Whatever you do, do not buy far cry on the wii... in fact, if someone offers to give it to you for free, still do not accept it.

It's that bad.

Great deal. I got Tomb Raider and Prince Of Persia. Was going to get 2 Tomb Raiders and sell one one ebay (currently going £25-£30) but there was only one left at my local store. There wasn't anymore Monkey Ball's either (my second choice) but Prince of Persia looks like itll be fun.

Awesome deal considering Gamestation is selling Tomb Raider for £35.

Interesting that CEX buy Tombraider for £26. Argos is just around the corner from my local CEX. Do they stop buying if 200 people have the same idea?

Those were the two I was after but both out of stock for home delivery.

I was so excited too and as usual Argos let you down on the last screen! :x

Must be all those people buying to sell at CeX. :whistling:

Thanks, reserved Rayman and Tomb Raider

Does anyone have experience of the charging docking station you can get for a tenner when you buy any game? Was thinking about getting one, wondered if they were any good, or if anyone had suggestions for how to not spend a fortune on batteries!!!

I bought one (not quite the same) from Dealextreme.....Excellent util....charges batteries while not in use perfectly....only problem (with ours anyway) is you cannot have the skins on and charge at the same time, they dont fit in the base and also rely on (new) contacts on the back of the wiimote being in contact with the base. If you dont use skins this shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks to OP for this deal anyway....ordered 2 Tomb Raiders picked em up and already sold one on Fleabay....I know its naughty but saved me a bit of money, also picked up Links Crossbow and got £5 off instead of a voucher because I forgot to take my Argos card but had the printed voucher :?

2 x tomb raiders
1 x Links crossbow training with zapper
Childrens xmas paper (to take above £50!)

TOTAL £51.48

Less £5
Less tomb raider sold on Fleabay (already;-)) @ £22

Grand Total £24 .28

I'm happy.....so are the kids :p

ref: docking station from argos...
we got one from there and its great but as already posted you cant use the skins on the controller while charging but its not a prob as your not using them and takes seconds to stick the skin back on.

Was trying to get 2 Ratatouille's (cos they were coming up as £25 for 2) & 2 cooking mama's for collection & said they were in stock to reserve but when it came to entering my email address it said cooking mama was out of stock & the total price was £20.02 for 2 Ratatouille's which they honoured in store! i ordered the cooking mama's to pick up at another store and got those for £30. So spent £50.02 total. Then i took 1 of each to Game still sealed & said they were unwanted gifts and they gave me £39.99 each for the games on a gift card! So got 2 games and £79.98 credit!! Great deal! Thanks:-D:thumbsup:

Excellent, got 4 games earlier, at first they wouldn't accept the £5 voucher, they said HO had told them to not accept any internet vouchers I told them I'd had it in an email got them to ring HO and they they accepted the voucher, the wife is playing Cooking Mama right now ;)

Or you could have rushed out and bought todays Sun news paper (as I found out from a very nice customer whilst in Argos :P), it had the free #5 gift voucher in it and also you got 2 free energy saving light bulbs with the paper, so I bought 3 papers and fitted the house out with light bulbs for free :P

Have you tried the 2 games on my link to see if that works if not you must have a problem somewhere the reason I pointed out the penny was incase you where adding wrong items :)
#35
try rayman and big bass fishing they both come out at £30 for me.
#36
Yes I tried your link but it made no difference. I also tried Rayman and Big Bass fishing but still no joy.

Thank you anyway for your help, probably something wrong with my browser.
#37
if you add tomb raider anniversary with ratatouille its only £25 - so even if i dont like the game, i could send to CEX and make £1.00 and have Ratatouille still.

It worked for me in FF at first but then for some reason stopped deducting the offer when I was trying different combinations....so switched to IE7 & it worked fine...dont know why, but got there in the end
