I've posted this elsewhere but thought it warranted listing on its own.

If you reserve two games for store pick up then one of the games is priced at £10.01, but if you make sure the other game is out of stock then go through and reserve, it reserves the game that is in stock at £10.01. I've just done that and have reserved Heatseeker and Splinter Cell at £10.01 each!!

You might have to play about with it a bit but it does work. I'll know for sure tomorrow when I pick them up but the self serve should still give them at the price quoted with your reservation number.

Can't seem to get the link to work properly, sorry I'm a newbie here!!

i think you will find that on the quick pay booth you will be charged the full price of the game.

this behaviour has been reported and tested not to work on other multibuy offers before
#2
Fair enough, I'll know for sure tomorrow.
#3
confused, that will never work. even if it did shouldnt it be 15 per game?
#4
No. because one is priced at 19.99 and the other 10.01.

Flawed logic.
You will be charged full price.

The system remembers your item, and your reservation number. It does not remember your price..hence why people often find the price has changed overnight.
You are wasting your time if you think it will show at £10..it wont..100% guaranteed

this wont work. sorry this has been tried before. will be getting cold in here soon

Didn't work for me today at my local Argos, I'm afraid. Online for some reason it does split the cost 19.99 and 10.01, instead of 15 quid each. However, I tried to collect a 10.01 game through the Quick Pay machine and it showed the price at 19.99. Good luck if you try it at the checkout - maybe take your reservation email in and you might blag it!!

However that email does warn: "This reservation relates to the item(s) only, not the price. The item(s) have not been paid for and the price you pay is the price valid in store when the goods are collected. This may result in the price being different, for example after a promotion that was valid at the time the goods were reserved has ended."

Good luck anyway if you try it!

thats because thats the offer they have on 2 for £30 but as Ratatouille is only £14.99 rather than £19.99 it takes an extra £5 off.
