Would have liked to buy this as a gift for a friend but a reviewer has said it is not compatible with the wii motion sensor sadly....

As far as I am aware there are no games using wii motion plus that would require a light sabre anyway, so you wouldn't have the wii motion plus attached to play them.

Bit like not buying mario kart because the motion plus won't fit inside the wheel!

If your friend has the star wars games that you would use these for then I would just get them.

Swordplay on Wii Sports Resort - it's my kids favourite and they would love these - until they started whacking each other with them and I chucked them in the bin!!!:roll:

Funny how kids seem to have a built in instinct to whack each other with sticks.
