LOL it takes a little more than that for some!!! try £50 a month gym fees for a start if you're a parent of a young one and can't get out much or need to really lose a lot of weight... good now that summer is here tho! :D
#13
Darn - I just paid £15 at Amazon - good find.

This is actually a good video.

It's good if you have the motivation to get up and do the exercise.

You can do 15 mins, 30, 45 or 60 mins. 60 minutes is daunting for many people, and some just don't have the time... but 15 minutes is far better than nothing, whether you are stretching or doing core body!

You do a fitness assessment to begin with. Then the fitness coach tries to set the level of exercise so that it is manageable - but that you push yourself a little. If it is too easy you simply tell the coach so, and next time your work out is adjusted. Likewise, if too difficult - say so and next time it will be easier.

There's alot more to this DVD.

This is a great price for this, and it is definately worth a post of it's own, and worth the money!

Dont forget quidco!

I'll save you £10.

Stop shovelling rubbish down your necks and exercise more...

excellent post op at a very good price.

As to the poster here - when you know what you're talking about let us know. I've used this for 4 weeks, dropped just under a stone in weight and much fitter than before.

Perhaps you should actually try for a long period before slating it. Gyms are fine for equipment but cr#p for anything else. For those in a quandary - try it for a few months for a tenner. If you don't like it after that then spend £30 a month at a gym.

Nobody's saying it's as good as a gym membership and I'm sure that they never left the gym because this product came out but if you're leaving the gym anyway, and in these economic times, it's gonna be one of the first things to go, it's better to do this for half an hour every second night than nothing at all. Or do you have a problem with that argument also.......

All hail the mighy fitness guru JakeNJo then huh ??

And for the rest of us mere mortals, this is a good price and any kind of fitness or exercise is good exercise in my book

great find thanks, i would be ok when im at the gym but its getting to the gym i struggle with and now with a young child its even harder. im quite active anyway but have been looking at this just to do a bit more! :)
#25
This has got to be better for you than doing no excercise at all. The people that are slating it need to think before they press 'post'.
#26
Sizzling. Was about to buy this a couple of days ago for the wife and glad I waited.
#27
Hi there - can you use the wii fit board with this??

Thanks!
#28
not compatible with the Wii Fit board - that'll be EA Active which is out in a couple of months.

This is brilliant incidentally! Shattered after 30 minutes!
#29
i got this on realease date.... it is actually really good, id recommend ! Only thing is its difficult to motivate urself to do it sometimes. One thing that annoys me is that it interupts through the working to ask how ur feeling, which is fine but you then need to find ur remote and point it up at ur asnwer etc, it does get a wee bit annoying however doesnt disrupt the work out too much./ Baragain at £10

Thanks, heat and rep added.
#32
Got this for a tenner when Zavvi emailed a voucher. Have to say it seems pretty good. Better than just following a DVD. Duly heated!
#33
I would just like to thank everyone for there help on my first post. Thanks!

How much do you get with Quidco? 1%?
#35
It's a shame that this title doesn't take advantage of the Wii's strengths, and is a straight port from another platform (and it shows). Having said that, it is very effective and well worth a tenner. Recommended at this price, but just don't expect it to be like Wii Fit (and it doesn't use the Fit board at all).

Thanks for the heads up on EA Active, I've been wating for something like Fitness Traiiner that uses the Wii properly - just need a good deal on a pre-order for EA Active now.

As someone who uses both this and wii fit - and who used to attend a gym...
the graphics are terrible, the American accent is irritating. It doesn't give you much explanation of the exercises before you start doing them. When it assesses you the measurements start from zero - so it takes ages to put your chest and hip size in and you have to do that each time you do the assessment. I find it annoying and much prefer wii fit.

On the plus side - you can specify if you have weights, step, gym ball, heart monitor and the workputs vary a bit. You don't need to pay a fortune for a gym if you are motivated and buy some weights. It is more demanding than Wii Fit.

It's a hot deal for the price but personally I wouldn't recommend it.
#38
Aaaagh - it's gone up to £14.99!
#39
Yup - expired now :(
#40
back up to £14.99 they must have sold their quota...
