nor me. looks VERY similar to Dealextreme............
Non official products very cheap

In fact the product looks like this one from dealextreme
http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.14236

It's also 8c CHEAPER at dealextreme.....

Never heard of it either but have ordered a Wii remote and have had an e-mail to say its on its way.

You can Pay by Paypal so seems OK. Will let you know if any problems

The Nintendo Wii is basically a Gamecube (specs are EXTREMELY similar) and they made the gamecube for £10 a pop...

The Wii's nunchuku is EXTREMELY poor quality. It feels cheap and tacky (and that's the official one), so this copy cant be bad!

hott

Slightly cheaper at Dealextreme.

you ever tried to get a replacement or refund from DX?? flipping nightmare with replacements and no refunds unless you file with paypal and hold out cos DX send emails after disputes raised saying they will not send the item unless you cancel the dispute, do this and you wont get your item or refund. this has happened to me twice with DX

Never had a problem with Dealextreme.............
They send out replacements without an issue............
amazing how people's experiences differ eh?

Have returned an item to dealextreme in Hong Komg and they even refunded the postage as well as sending a replacement item. Can't fault their service at all.

I had a strange paypal issue with focalprice yesterday, somebody posted a deal so i went on their site and ordered something but the payment through paypal would not process. I then tried dealextreme and the payment went straight through!

This makes me laugh. I posted a DS guitar heros controller and I had it taken off as it was apparantly a copy. This product is quite obvious a copy. When it suits.

Review:
Bad Points: Build quality isnt the best it doesnt work very well sometimes joystick doesnt respond to moves
its got to be cold if it doesnt work properly.
#13
Wow that's very cheap, surely it can't be too bad?

well that p*sses me of even more. I posted the same one (I dont know if it was before or after this). Was told it was against copyright and they took it down. I have refrained from putting up many posts on this site as im getting too annoyed about the way they run the site, again when it suits the mods. Im starting to lose interest in this site as you only get something hot if it suits the mods or if someone who spends their whole day on here. Typically you put a deal on and it will get voted cold by the top whackers as they don't like to see you putting a better deal than themselves for instance if you're a flame thrower they can just burst the deal down into coldness even if 50 newbies have voted it hot. Totally corrupt.

Looks like the official one from a different country - can anyone confirm this is a Nintendo manufactured chuck and not a rip-off?

Reading the reviews it seems like a non-Wii branded unit......it's the apparent sound issues that's made me put my card away though....
#17
Any website that wants my money has to be able to spell the names of the products that they are attempting to sell......What's a "Nitendo Wii Controller"?

I'm drunk and can still spell better than that. Voted cold for obvious fakes....................................
#18
it's definitely a counterfeit! There are loads of these counterfeit Wii controller in Hong Kong and China. Shops brand them as "original" Wii controller from Japan!

Poor built quality. Non-responsive. Cracking sounds. Poor vibration.

think the most anyone can add or take is 9 isn't it? and doesn't take much to get to that.
some of the controllers make it clear they are not the originals - some try to be identical and go as far as recreating trademarks etc
there is a difference

If it's sound issues that people are worried about then I'm ok on that score as am deaf lolol!!:-D

I guess that it's not official.:x

I've had two things damaged in post from Deal Extreme. All I had to do was take a pic and they sent out a replacement right away. The first time I didn't even have to take a pic, they just sent a replacement out without fuss and with considerable speed. Based on some of the other comments and my own experiences...you've been unlucky.

Sorry but why are you all getting wound up that it's not 'official' - nowhere does it say it is official. You get what you pay for but 99% of these will work, feel and look exactly like the official remote that you'll pay a lot more for because Nintendo say so. Hell, have you never got a 3rd party pad before?
#24
Given the abuse my official nunchucks(I have 3) get and the bad reviews of non-official verisions this is cold........ rather pay the extra £8ish and avoid the hassle if I had to. Am still waiting for a £10ish official price and will snap up a 4th ( and maybe more for family consoles).

No.

The reason being that ALL 3rd party controllers are sh*t. End of. The original manufacturers are always the best when it comes to additional peripherals and always will be. I'd rather spend the extra few quid and get a good one with a warranty that is more than toilet roll.

My suspicions too were raised about this website, a quick look at my tcp connection to this website on port 80 revealed the ip address belongs to "qushopping.cncsz.net:http" which is a registered domain in China- I think anybody buying from this website should be very wary and expect fakes. Im voting this deal cold!

I agree.

But way to quote my last line removing all context of the entire paragraph.

The point was...people are all high and mighty about this not being 'official' or even 'counterfeit' - you yourself calling them 'obvious fakes' when in fact...it doesn't say it is official (it's WU) and yet you and others seem to like to run your mouth with this 'isn't official' nonsense for some reason. As I said, accept it for what is. We've had 3rd party before, no need for the HotUkDeals moral police to be out in full force.

Quoting previous comment
"Review:

So is it better to save a few quid on something that is less than perfect or pay the extra for something that works! You get what you pay for so it isnt about the moral police but about whether it actually is a hot deal if the thing doesnt work.

So it's "WU"? 'Cause the picture of the box reads "Wii" to me, with something written on the top in another language. The packaging also looks like the Wii packaging, so excuse me for assuming it was.

I have a few 3rd party controllers but the reviews for this particular item speak for themselves, and it is generally easier and cheaper to return items to a decent seller in the UK than it is dealing with retailers abroad. Preferring to have official items from an accountable source is perfectly reasonable. As is buying something cheap and hoping it works.

So thankyou, notts6501.

these items are fakes and they arrive in nintendo branded packaging

they also sell fake n95, n96, iphone, sony erikson mobile phones all not tested for health n safety standards

just be careful coz if for any reason they blow up or cause a fire or somat daft you aint covered, especially if children are gonna be using em.....not worth the risk imo.....small parts n what not not kite marked or ce

other than that cheap n cheerful
