Synopsis Sharing the instant accessibility of titles like Wii Sports and Wii Fit, Wii Party brings more than 80 different mini-games into your home. The inventive game offers non-stop fun and unparalleled variety as you, your family and friends grab up to four Wii Remotes and try your hand at a host of inventive and intuitive gaming experiences. To add to the enjoyment, you’ll play as your Mii character and see them in action like never before! With 13 different game modes to get to grips with, Wii Party will be the life and soul of any gathering as you enjoy games that refine the traditional party videogame experience. For the first time, the action away from the television screen will be as important as what’s displayed on it as House Party mode turns your living room into a pivotal part of the game play. The Party Games include: Board Game Island (1-4 players) - players take it in turns to roll the dice and advance along a single route towards the summit of the mountain. At the beginning of each turn, everyone plays a mini-game, and the order the players come in determines which bonus dice they receive. This is a board game like no other – expect the impossible. Globe Trot (1-4 players) – a board game that has you travelling the world to earn souvenir photos. The players must select one card at a time from the cards they have in their hands and advance the stated number of spaces towards the country they are aiming for. There is also a minigame before each turn, and based on the results, players win coins which they can use to buy movement cards and souvenir photos. Bingo (1-4 players) - each player receives a bingo card covered in Mii characters. If a “Mii Ball” comes out of the bingo machine, you have to check off that Mii if it appears on your card, while if a “Mini-game Ball” appears, you play a mini-game. The winner can check off any Mii of their choice. The winner is the first to make a line horizontally, vertically or diagonally. Swap Meet (1-4 players) – Have fun matching Mii characters wearing the same colours and playing minigames. The aim of the game is to make each row consist of Mii characters wearing the same colour. Spin Off (1-4 players) – each Mii takes a turn to spin the wheel by holding the A Button and flicking the Wii Remote. Depending on where the wheel stops, you could be in for some point-scoring medals.

This is the solus version, not the one with the remote. Please make sure this is clear to people.
#4
Although it does say in the description that it comes with a remote, though I would say that is a mistake

True, but because it says solus, that means it isn't meant to - solus games don't include the controllers. You could bring it up with them if they did send you one without a controller, but it depends if you wanted the hassle.
#7
P.S. If you are going to do that, I'd make sure you take a screen cap of the page

#9
I would say its solus too, I paid £28 the other day for the controller pack there,
#10
SOLUS!!!!
#11
FFS. I've just bought this before seeing the thread as it says the controller is included.

I don't know what Solus meant, i assumed it was the name of the game makers. So ****ed off.

If it's any help I bought the game with controller from Tesco a couple of weeks ago when it was on offer for £28.I've just gone and dug my paperwork out to check the catalogue number and it's exactly the same.

I hope this is right about the remote being inc because after ordering it at £28.00 on 1/12 for delivery to the store and it not turning up a 10 days later and two visits (which cost me the same in petrol as it would have to have it delivered) they re-ordered it this morning at the store and when I read the email after arriving home confirming the re-order was horrified when it read "Solus". I spent 50 mins holding to talk to someone about it and hung up in the end as I could not get through. THIS BETTER COME WITH THE REMOTE OR I WILL SCREAM!!!!!!!!!
#20
I would like to know if this comes with a remote too please, if anyone finds out i'd be grateful.
#21
I had a problem like this with a retailer before and never did get the controller, so I'd be a bit dubious especially as it does say 'Solus'
#22
i would say this is d game only
i bought the solus game from tesco entertainment last week for 23.70 few days later it went at this price 24.70
today its showing 28.70
the 1s i ordered was just the game from tesco entertainment

i had a email yesterday by tesco direct that the wii party with remote is still out of stock and they are montering stock levels
although i did see THIS deal past few days on there site as ive been waiting for more stock with the remotes
best way to find out is to order it as you can always return it if its the game only
#23
I'm going to hold off buying one as I can't be bothered with all the hassle if it turns out that it is the Solus version
#24
Why heat for this it doesn`t come with the remote it`s solus!
banned#25
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news have just spoken to tesco direct and they confirm that it is an error and it does NOT come with a controller, they will be updating the site in due course.
So I shall be off to argos on Monday to collect my reserved one!!!!
#26
looks as if i'll have to collect my reserved at argos and cancel this one at tesco's.
what a bummer!!
#27
Is there an Argos deal on the go then?
banned#28
currently 34.99 at argos, subject to store stock, comes c/w black controller, just a shame i wanted a white controller, but think it is the best price at the mo.
#29
They won't take my order because I live in Scotland :( Seemingly they cannot be delivered due to the weather !!! Not even a postal delivery:(
#30
just reserved mine at Argos - Black controller but don't mind, will cancel my Tesco one but can't get through on phone sick to death of them!! Very poor service!
#31
What, no bad language???????? :(
#32
THIS DOES NOT COME WITH THE REMOTE IT'S JUST THE GAME AND TESCO AREN'T BOTHERED THAT THEY ARE WRONGLY ADVERTISING THAT IT COMES WITH A REMOTE. YOU EITHER PURCHASE IT OR HAVE YOUR MONEY BACK THEY ARE NOT PREPARED AS A GOOD WILL GESTURE TO SEND YOU A REMOTE CONTROL EVEN THOUGH IT'S THEIR ERROR..

I would like to know if this comes with a remote too please, if anyone finds out i'd be grateful.

This does not come with the remote as I have just stood in the shop with the guy from Tesco Customer Service and watched him ring through to confirm and cancel my order, just picked up my Wii and remote from Argos at £34.99 - Oh, and the web has now changed from "remote inc" and they deny all knowledge of it ever reading that it did even though I had the screen shot in my hand
#34
How di it get so hot when there was no confirmation that someone did get remote with it?

It did not say this on the web at 4pm yesterday because I have the screen shot, they changed it last night as a result of all the enquiries from this site.
