I can also confirm that the game is in english having bought both a french and german wii play.

Amazon.de will ship this item to the UK, this is AMAZON.DE who are selling this not a market place seller. And if you are having problem ordering from amazon.de because of the german use google translate.

Unless things have changed since last week, Amazon.de won't ship to the UK anymore. Or, is that just the consoles??

I thought that was the Wii consoles only?
#4
That is just the nintendo wii console you can still order any other item from amazon.de. Why are people voting this cold??? This is a HOT DEAL!

I think its a marketplace seller who is promising availability from 11 December. Will this incur VAT/Duty? Cheap all the same.
#6
ok if you can read german

well due to the fact that Germany is actually part of the EU, then no DUTY/VAT will have to be paid :santa:

Same layout as Amazon.co.uk but use

THIS

if you need something translated.

This is not from a marketplace seller - it is from Amazon.de (see here)
There is no duty/VAT to pay with EU transcactions
Only the manual will be in German - the game will be in English
#10
Well I've just ordered one, managed with a smattering of o level german, but mainly by having amazon uk open at the same time, the layout is the same, with the buttons in the same place.

Thanks to Knightsimon !!

Cheers. I knew that was the case with Amazon direct but unsure if it was the same with Marketplace sellers. Thanks for clarifying its not a marketplace sale.

Even better if you ignore mis-information posts like yours. Not a problem if you have an ounce of knowledge - as arotabi showed.

I got a Wii from amazon.de - great service. Good deal.

ordered one. Nice spot knightsmon.

€38.19 price
€6.00 delivery
€7.73 tax
€51.92 total so about £37.50 delivered which is still cheaper than amazon, argos, woolies etc (if those muppets actually had any)

rep for OP. Voted hot
#14
Hmm not as great of a deal as they got last time... but still good considering the circumstances.

Got this from Amazon.fr a while ago. Game box and instructions are in french. I believe the game will play in English as long as the Wii is set up for English.

I ordered one in september from marshall wards. I was told it would be here in January but it turned up on monday. With using a code a got shrek 3 game and wii play for £31
#31
Hee Hee ...same old same old. I've posted a couple of deals on this including this price on this thread http://www.hotukdeals.com/forums/showthread.php?t=121281&highlight=amazon.de

and people voted that one even colder than this. Some people make me laugh, if you want a Wii Play at RRP then go find one ...you'll be looking for a very long time. This is an excellent deal if you want Wii Play but don't want to wait a couple of months for it to be in stock. Thankfully I managed to get one when they were £22.45 (which was voted quite cold too :-)).

Ordered one of these a few days ago after giving up on Gameseek who kept promising that they'd get it in stock...

Just navigated my way through to order one. Thanks for the post.

As a bit of a novice to the Wii world can anyone briefly explain the benefits of Wii play?????

Most people get it cos it's bundled with an extra controller and it sometimes cheaper than the controller on it's own ...those were the days ;-)

Thanks Humperdinck.

Are the games any good??

obviously you need the controller but wii play is pretty **** - worse than wii sports and that is pretty bad as well...anyone who is paying £60 on ebay for this should be committed as they should buy the controller on its own and buy a decent game (eg super mario galaxy or RE4) instead for about the same money...£60
#37
Ah right....

at least i've got the extra controller without payin top dollar.
#38
Not really. Ok to get you used to the controller.
