I was looking for one of these wii remote chargers and came across this one at argos, the advantage with this one is that you can keep your motion plus attachment on whilst charging.

Had a look on hukd and could not find it posted.

Although my choice of vocabulary might differ slightly, in essence I agree.
The anti-slip sleeves are a nuisance to remove without tremendous dexterity so for a convenient solution I am not sure that this complies.
I purchased a similar product about a year ago from the same retailer for around six pounds sterling but concluded that the transaction wasn’t worthwhile as it remains in its original packaging to this day.
chin chin old chap!(_;)

..or in my usual turn of phrase to be quite truthful..

Whit are you sayin’ mate? These rubbery haundles really suck, ma fingers huvnae got the hing of it, it’s a pure hassle, man cuz it gits 'kin stuk. Ah got yin o they battery chargers last crimbo man, frae argaes an’ uv nevir yeased it yit. Waste of 6 squid. Cheers mate.X)

The battery life is actually good, the reason poeple thinnk its bad is because it charges via the USB and you need to keep the wiiconnect24 on for the USBs to be permanently powered. This IS listed in the instructions for the charger.
I personally bought a 3pin plug to a USB converter (59p delivered from ebay) so I can leave it permanently on charge.
There are 2 LEDs one for each controller - blue means charging, green when charged

last one I had like this, I had to take back because:
- the battery connections kept failing in the middle of games (not good when you're being attacked by hordes of zombies)
- batteries when dead quickly - even after charging overnight - probably because they're low capacity AAA batteries inside the thing.
- I got fed up with removing the silcone sleeve and having to put it back on - so having one which charges with the MotionPlus on it pointless - as you'd always disconnect it to charge anyway.
Good price, but buy decent rechargable battteries instead - cheaper and last longer - since they'll be 2500+ma AA instead of 650m-a AAAs.

Any chance you could post a link to the 59p USB charger. Been after a few of them but can't find them when searching.

The rechargable batteries on these are crap, I have had 3 sets of these and they don't hold there charge, even when they have been on charge all the time,

Just but some rechargable batteries and and stick them in it they are alot better.

agreed its much better

The batteries in them are absolutely rubbish. You get 40-50 mins of gameplay before they need recharging.

It's still cheap though.

Their quad charger was great. Never had a problem with batteries running out even after hours of play.

However, one stopped charging. I thought I would open it up as it is 11 months old and I can't find the receipt. Three of the four 2 amp transistors inside have melted (how only one has totally failed is beyond me) inside the casing there is a large burnt area and on closer inspection you can see two melted areas of plastic even from the outside of the casing. I took it back to warn them but I'm unsure if the message will have been passed on.
If you have a quad charger inspect it closely and I suggest you get one of these at this great price instead (before it kills your wii or controllers)

I bought a couple of battery packs that you charge via USB from Game 2 weeks ago and they have just packed in.

I agree with previous comments on here the battery packs are utter s**t u r so much better just buying rechargable batteries 2 put in ur remotes they do really last alot longer than these packs do!! certainly not worth the original price of £25!!! thats for sure!!

We've tried two of these docking station charger thingys and the first stopped working straight away, whilst the second we discovered only about 2 of the 4 docking bays actually work :-S Not impressed
