Generic Wiimote with nunchuck for under a fiver delivered. Generally positive reviews. I ordered this from another seller (GLOBALOMOUK) a couple of days ago for £4.27 with free delivery so worth keeping an eye on the url to save a whole 50p. Ideal for those who got the game.co.uk pre-owned Wii for £15.

It should be noted they are third party!

No motion plus

No motion plus, and these are third party! Which basically means they're not worth the packaging they come in!

It wouldn't be a bargain if they were free. None of the third party wii controllers live up to the real thing. Some just don't plain work, or to a level the real ones do - others work for a few days, then break.

I've personally had a wii since they came out.

We have 2 Nintendo Wiimotes and 2 generic ones & cannot tell the difference when using them. Motionplus remotes are a lot more expensive but for a budget replacement I think this is a good deal.

I'm not against the idea of cheap replacements, if only they worked. I've hooked up real and third party wiimotes to a PC, and looked at the data they give back. None of the third party ones were as good as the real thing, a lot of dead points, sometimes would give correct data, other times they wouldn't. Which can be very frustrating in a game.

I'm not the only one who feels the same way. Look at youtube videos of people complaining about them, and how to spot fakes.

Sadly sometimes, the only way to get quality is to invest in the real thing.

I'll leave it with, if anyone does buy these, they should know they're taking a punt on them. Since the amount of poor reviews, 3 and below, outnumber the "good" reviews.

Sadly yes. Your best bet is going to a local pawn shop and picking up the real versions. They're just as cheap. You should note though, even the real motion plus adapters play up sometimes, unlike real wiimotes with in built in. Also, some people with small hands find the plus adapter makes the whole wiimote too big to handle.

I do agree with you though, wiimotes with motion plus (built in or not) is very much needed for the Wii U. I had to update my wiimotes as well.
