just used the £50 off littwoods code ZQ210 (phone only) to get Wii + sports for just £129.13 at additions

not sure when the code expires so be quick (might be today)

code works on sister sites but the consoles are a lot more on choices, littlewoods & empirestores so use additions

Can this code be used against anything from additions direct? what did you say to them on the phone re the code? were they ok to accept it?
#2
didn't question it

just told him it wouldn't accept on-line so he asked for the item number then the code, make sure he confirms the price but that was it

he does ask who your shopping with and you do need an account (littlewoods & additions are the same account)

I did it on an account I only just set up
#3
where did u get the code from ie was it issued to u, as they will charge others the full whack later once they cotton on it was not for others to use the code. also wouldnt they ask u where u ot code from when others phone up:thinking:
#4
I was using the code from the littlewoods thread

http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/290522/littlewoods-phone-orders-only-50-di/

people have been using it for nearly 3 weeks now without a problem
also I'll have to find it but bitter wallet reported that they now won't collect money back from vouchers
#5
I have been using these codes for years (including the £50 ones) and they have never took anything back from me, so I wouldn't worry too much.

I do try to at least only buy things that I wouldn't mind so much if they did come back (as in, I dont buy stuff at hugely overinflated prices
#7
ordered mine,

Wii you can get it cheapest for about £150 price was from sainbury.

if you dont have 1 get it, is a bargain.
#8
I though that Littlewoods/catalogue vouchers usually state that they cannot be used on electricals?

I used this code 1 mth ago, got a wii, first time I ever ordered from them, checked my bank on-line and they had taken full amount even though checkout came to £150 ish. Rang to cancel as I had not recieved the wii before I noticed and the lady said I would be credited monies back to my card within a month. I still cancelled. Be warned, Littlewoods group are all the same.

When you make an order and pay using your card, they do automatically charge the whole amount to your card and then the discount goes back onto your card as a refund - never known it to be any different
#13
I have ordered now and the sales girl told me the same thing that they will deduct the complete amount £179.13 and credit it back after I receive the item of £50. Delivery is 3 weeks though : (.

The email they sent back does show the deductions though.

But a good buy for this price.

Terms and conditions

2.3 Promotional codes are codes that enable customers to obtain benefits such as discounts, free delivery and free gifts. These codes are non-transferable so may only be used by the person to whom they are issued and must only be used in accordance with their terms and conditions of use. If you use a promotional code to claim a promotional benefit, you must first check that it was issued to you and that you are eligible to use it. By using it to claim a promotional benefit you will be confirming that:-

(i) you are entitled to use the code;
(ii) you meet all the conditions that apply to its use;
(iii) you agree to the terms set out below.

If, before accepting your order, we find that you are not entitled to use the code or do not meet all the terms and conditions of its use, we may reject your order or alternatively process it without the promotional benefit being applied. If, after accepting your order, we find that you were not entitled to use the code or did not meet all the terms and conditions of its use, we may reverse the benefit that you obtained. If you transacted on a cash basis e.g. by debit or credit card, we may take a further payment, equivalent to the value of the benefit obtained, from the card used. If you transacted on a credit basis, the value of the benefit obtained may be charged to your credit account.

be careful with this deal, just phoned up and i do have an account with littlewoods direct, gave the code, would not accept it, tried other codes from flyer, (out of date), not accepted, was told they r only accepting codes that were sent to customers, could not offer me any other code, delivery was from 5th jan, obviously did not purchase, hoping to save post xmas.

i used the code the other week on the 42" samsung, hope they don't reclaim unauthorised codes for that, but it looks unlikely now. My message would be, phone them, if u do buy online u risk the saving being reclaimed, they may be getiing wiser!
#18
Well others have also phoned and the additions customers service didnt accept and said it has been expired (liars), when the same customer calld up again and spoke to someone differnt they accepted it.

If they dont accept it,ask for reason?
If not tell them you want to speak to their manager/supervious as you are not accepting the code.
#19
Has anyone checked their online status of their order.

-What is the amount deduted and the ?
-date you will receive the order?
#20
mumbojumbo
The £50 is a credit applied to your account. If you're not entitled to it, then they don't have to give it to you. You have agreed to purchase the item for £179.13 and hope that they give you the credit back.

we already agreed after the discount. So they must honour it, otherwise well just give it back.
