Great price.
#3
This is great, just to stop the kids wrecking the pad
#4
bought one of these last week at the same price. It's decent as a case but not all that protective really. For £2 you cant go wrong tho with free delivery

Why would you ever need one of these? Its a home console and no games use 2 pads. So its never going to leave the house
#6
will this fit ps vita?
#7
Thanks just want it to stop gathering dust :(

It's extremely portable actually. Particularly since you don't even need a tv for almost all the games

but it still needs to be reasonably close to the main console, take mine in the next room and it losses connection.

As long as wherever you're going has somewhere to plug the main unit in you can play using the tablet controller as the screen, so without a TV. This makes the Wii U somewhat portable, unlike other home consoles. It's certainly not as convenient as a handheld system but if you're really into games or have a lifestyle that often presents the opportunity it is easily doable.

when it launched there were several reports of ppl using the wii u on trains. I've been tempted to try it on a plane myself
#13
Someone should amend the title, this a Wii U gamepad carry case, not a carry case for the actual Wii U console itself!
#14
In case-U drop it?

Forget it...
#15
Wait I've got it, in case,Wii drop it?

And how are you going to power the main console on a plane? to clarify; to use the gamepad's screen to play a game you still need to be connected to the Wii U console.

Some planes have power sockets next to the seat. Same case on trains.

In the same room yes.. So why would you need a carry case? I do have a wii u btw

The wii u is a home console. You need the pad connected to the console. Hence why im asking why anyone would need a carry case for a home console. When the signal strength is about 30 feet maximum

I've seen several ppl bring it along for local multiplayer, particularly for monster Hunter. so the carry case for the game pad might come in handy. also, the console + gamepad is surprisingly portable. all you need is a mains socket (or a backup power unit) and away you go.

Seen yesterday in Game, still available.

bought for £3.99 in-store.
showing as £2 on website so have tried to unexpire
a much nicer case was on eBay for £8.99 but this is better if you want to put £6.99 towards games and other accessories!
