Saw this yesterday mate. I notice you're mobile so may not have seen this...

Please note: Grade C consoles are not guaranteed to be in the colour black.

What does Grade C mean? Damaged?

It says it definitely comes with a gamepad, charger, and a sensor bar, but I'd be wary of buying anything "C" without seeing it first.

Still best to wait for the Switch.

These are already plummeting in price and will only go one way once the new console lands.

Plummeting in price near 5 years later?

Hardly plummeting in price like you say, still 150+ new everywhere

Easily obtainable from many places at this price for a good 6 months, not necessarily from Game but more like Cash Converter/Generator and local game shops.

Give it another week and it'll be even less

Add the fact that Smyth's only reduced the Mario Kart Bundle down to £199.99 too, I agree. It's certainly not "plummeting" in price at all. With so little stock left, no backwards compatibility for these titles on Switch and so little consoles sold, these are sure to become collector's items.

I'll admit I've had the zelda edition stored away for going on a year

is it still the case that the colour represents the memory. black 32gb white 8gb?

It is, yes. Black is nicer though. :p

I think so ^ I'm sure only Japan got 32Gb White consoles.

Either way, 32Gb or 8Gb you'll need external space X)

The Wii servers weren't closed until 2014, 8 years after launch, i'd suspect you have another 2 years of online on Wii U

Nothing? The Wii only shut down because Gamespy closed. It wasn't Nintendo pulling them. The Wii eShop is still online too.

PS3 and Xbox 360 servers are still up even. It'll be years before they pull the Wii U down.

I hope you are right but the PS3 and 360 have a massive user base compared with Wii U and also the revenue from PS+ and Gold that also helps support the services.

Would only go for this sort of a deal if I could inspect the thing first....given that its gloss black (or white) and given how fragile the gamepad is when I think grade C I think thrashed....

As far as I know wii games that didn't use the nintendo servers still work; like goldeneye. Unless they were shutdown otherwise.

I was more interested in playing Splatoon and Mario Kart 8 for example, once both of these are released on the Switch what's going to happen to the Wii U versions online?

Again, nothing. Nintendo aren't going to 'switch off' the Wii U servers.

My gut feeling is that this is over priced for a grade C, especially if it's only the 8gb model xxx
