Great price for a good machine albeit a kiddies machine really

I've never got this logic.

If you're missing out on Mario Kart 8, Super Mario 3D World, Super Smash Bros, Pikmin 3 & Captain Toad just because they are colourful 'kids games' then its by far your loss.

I own a Xbox One and Wii U and at the moment and at the moment for me the Wii U has by far the greater games for it.

If you're happy to get fleeced for your DLC and rehashed Call of Battlefield 17 games each year that are always half arsed then be my guest. I'll be happy playing my Wii U, knowing that Nintendo do at least put their games through quality control.

Super Mario 3D World, Wind Waker, Pikmin 3, Mario Kart 8, Shovel Knight and Bayonetta 2. That's been my last year with the Wii-U. I'm not sure it can get much better than that? No regrets. Patiently waiting for Star Fox and Zelda. You'd be daft not to pick one up at this price.

I'm an avid PC gamer, I don't have an xbox or PS4 because most of their good games come out on PC anyway. I do however have a Wii U, it's a must for Mario Kart and Zelda etc. It's a breath of fresh air playing games designed to be fun instead of pretty!

I got the shopto offer before Christmas knowing that a bunch of us grown-ups would play MK and smash bros over the festive period. I would have loved the black console to go with the rest of my electrical stuff and I am a bit jealous of this offer.

Truth is though, we've played so much wii u over the last week I can't regret my white console purchase.
The games are gorgeous and so damn playable. Gaming at its best.

Those people sitting on the fence, get involved, be it the basic or premium, the prices are extremely good value now.

Ps the pro controller is fantastic - get one!
pps the hard drives are probably too small long term on both. I bought a hard drive caddy for a few quid off amazon to house an old internal 40gb drive and plugged that in to increase storage. Careful with flash drives if you are planning to install games to it - they are not designed to read/write continuously so have a higher failure rate...

Started Bayonetta and Captain Toad this week, hell yeah!

Fantastic price. Great back catalogue already and some big hitters coming next year including Zelda, Star Fox and Xenoblade.

It ain't no kiddie machine... I'm 22 and I've played Smash 4 and Mario Kart 8 more than I've played anything on my PS4. Zelda next year as well.

They're all good for general mutiplayer, the gamepad, wii remote+nunchuck and the wii u pro controller (which has an amazing battery life minimum one month on a single charge). But the gamecube controller (coupled with the gamecube controller adapter) is the best one for Super Smash Bros U.

Great deal, would have snapped at this price if my missus hadn't bought me one for Xmas.. Definitely not just a kiddies console, there's plenty of unreal games already out, so I have plenty to play while waiting for ps4 to get more games out... Buy this and you won't regret it!

Pro is probably the best choice overall - phenomenal battery life
