As the title states, less than £30 for the Wii U Pro pad on Amazon.

It's back in stock at John Lewis, so they must be price matching... Might be worth getting from John Lewis if you can pick up from store for the two year guarantee.

Finally a price drop. I have just ordered an Offical White one (selling for £80 on amazon!) from Japan though. Worked out at £20.50!!!!

Hot though because this deal is on these shores!

With these do you still need the gamepad to boot up the Wii U and does it need to be on when using this pad or can this do it all?

Silly Question I know but I would like to know.

I thought the same, guessing this does it all, it has a power button :)

Was just about to post this deal, beaten to it, I got a Camel alert regarding the price drop and ordered right away.

Coming tomorrow via Prime - I shall miss the next day deliveries when my Prime expires, but won't be paying the increased price for a video service I don't use.

You can start up the WiiU and play games etc with the Pro Controller, the gamepad can be switched off. You do still need the gamepad for updates or games that require its use.

One assumes it's essentially a gamepad without the screen functionality? Hence the batteries lasts loads longer without screen drain.

Flubited this. Hopefully get the 12% discount!

I flubbited this at the weekend when it was a similar price on Amazon. I got an offer of about £26.50 which I went for immediately. I then got an email a few days later saying they were cancelling my order due to lack of stock and by that time the price had increased again on Amazon, so be aware!

I stopped using Flubit for similar reasons. Waited ages for an offer, which ended up coming after Amazon had put the price of the item up. Flubit price was higher than the original deal which I had now missed.

also you can only navigate the eshop with the gamepad which is completely bizarre and pointless

They did that to me when the Star Wars blu ray set dropped on 04/05, they didn't make me an offer until it had risen to £50 again or something.

They've been good recently though, so I'll see what I can get.

Not bad, been cheaper in the past it seems but with MK8 and what not being out it's a good price.

Nippon-Yasan. Official whites ones are not avilable in Europe.

A gamble at best. Also counterfeit goods. It is a clone of the official one (China no believe in patents, they believe in trademarks though hence no Nintendo branding) but to make it cheaper corners have been cut. Buttons might not work properly (including stiff analogue sticks), the accelerometer will be less reliable and the battery WILL be terrible.

It might also be a Wii Classic controller (like the old versions of the Gioteck controller).

Sorry to sound negative. That's not an official one like mentioned in the post.

yeah i said that it's not official in my first post. Still worth a gamble since it can save £15 and you can always send it back.
