The official Wii Zapper with the game and free postage. I don't think it will get much cheaper as its not expensive to start with.

Well do you get am game with it as well and the game has some good reviews
#8
Its a good price, but its still a lump of plastic with more of a minigame than a truly proper game.

Really losing faith in Nintendo for these awful additions - Just look at the wii wheel: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Wiiwheel.PNG

I love Nintendo games but sometimes I wonder, I really do.
#9
i have to agree with Nic Taylor, £18 for a piece of plastic minus the Wii mote but plus a mini game is not value for money.

I thought the zapper was supposed to be cheap, it's only $25 in the US, once again we have to pay a ridiculous premium in rip-off Britain, I bet some places will sell it for £25 :x
#14
It's essentially just a cradle for the Wii Remote and Nunchuck, so it will work with RE4. I haven't played the Wii version, though, so don't know if the buttons you need for it will be easily accessible or not.

Quite a few Zapper-compatible games coming up soon now. Medal of Honor: Heroes 2, Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles, Ghost Squad... and House of the Dead 2&3 was announced on Friday.

paper mario is pretty good once you get into it....bit easy though and bot being able to skip the text is plain annoying

It's the text that's naff and was winding me up. I enjoyed the SNES Mario games but I'm not really a 'gamer'.

£19.99 with 11% QuidCo at GAME.co.uk (with/without Reward Card points; double for pre-order) is cheaper, but a good reminder for me to order (now that I have a £5 voucher to use up due to the "Assassin's Creed" palaver!).

Thanks.

No you won't be able to use the zapper for resi 4 as you need to waggle the remote and use a,b buttons to dodge.

To the person that moaned about the wii wheel what's the problem it comes with mario kart.

Anyone want a decent game for wii get prime 3 it has excellent controls.
#24
amazon are selling an unnoffical one for £8.99 without that cheese game that no one wants

Been playing the new Resident Evil and Medal Of Honour 2 and they are very good but the Zapper would be a welcome addition to make it a lot easier. Good deal.

I'm losing faith in posters like you, the wheel is going to come free with Mario Kart in a few months time. If you're on Wikipedia you should of noticed that accompanying the picture

The Zapper looks alright, should be fun with a few of the supporting game. I'll enjoy the Link game even its its only a few levels.
#37
i dont see peoples problem with it
if you dont want to buy it, dont?
they arent necessary for the games, so if you want one, cool.. buy one.. if not.. dont

Wii Zapper isn't going down to well with some previewers

http://www.progamenews.com/?p=10542

I have a light gun for my wii. The lightgun/zapper isnt the problem, the problem with things like this is the button mapping for the wiimote , the B button may well be the fire button but if they use the A button to reload instead of the "wiggle the wiimote" then it sort of negates the point of having a lightgun in this configuration as you have to let go of the nunchuck to reload or do other things, a good example (although it wasnt really designed for a lightgun) is Resident evil 4. If the game companies could address the button mapping then the light gun bit on the wii would be pretty cool.

No it isn't, look at the trigger position at the front, with that one you still press the original wiimote trigger, with the zapper you get the tirgger moved to a better position. Like this one for £8.99 from Amazon:
