Wild Turkey is produced with a high rye content giving a spicy and more mature taste profile.
The spirit is aged for longer than most other bourbons, primarily 6-8 years giving a rounder and more complex taste.
Made under strictly controlled regulations, probably makes it the most tightly controlled of any whiskey type from around the world

Same price in Tesco's, its nice and certainly makes a change from the usual JD, JB debate. I see Tesco are now stocking Makers Mark.

No it's not, look at the prices to the right, though it is now "temporarily out of stock" there'll deliver when available.

I am more of a whisky drinker but I have tried a good few whiskeys and this is my favourite.

I drink Canadian Club. Dislike Whisky. Have never tried this! Should I buy one? Heat op

I also enjoy Canadian club as a supping drink with lots of ice. Bourbon is certainly closer to CC than a malt or even a blended scotch. Give it a try, worst case you can use it to make a great sauce/glaze.

I ordered a bottle when this was posted a week or so ago for £15 from Amazon, unfortunately it was on my way home after our work night out - I've just had the dispatch email and realised I've ordered 3 bottles....
