Would this be better than the Samsung j3. I'm asking as the j 3 is £89 in Argos on ee n this is my max budget for a gift.

Just wondering how does it compare with new moto g4 deal for £139? And moto e 2nd generation apart from camera and flash, and single simple?

bit confused about this phone, is it totally different from android , do you need to be tech savey to get the most from this

Also consider the Moto G 3rd gen for £69.99 then buying a fast 32GB micro-SD card to put in it for storage (for around £10).

No it's not - the Moto E 2nd Gen is £50 - the third gen isn't available yet...

Correct. I see where Gollywood is coming from though. Various Vodafone stores have gen 2 Moto E phones on display with the display card saying it's gen 3, but still showing gen 2 specs. You'd think they'd do their research before making ****ups like that.

You would hope - personally, I haven't been near a Vodafone shop for years, as their network near my home is awful.

Then you need to vent at Vodafone. This is what I saw in store..

The 2nd gen Moto E has previously been on sale for £29 at Vodafone (top up required, as is the case with the current £50 deal). I got it when it was £35 and no top up needed. It's now my main phone since my Smart Ultra 6 decided to give up the ghost thanks to its common screen issues

No, just a custom version of Android made by the community. A lot of people would say is better. If your not techy, it doesn't matter as it looks and feels like any Android phone.

Bought this for the wife last christmas just gone. She uses it daily and it is perfect, can't believe it only cost me £99 :)

shame it doesn't have quick charge

why.......
its a relatively mid to low capacity battery so doesn't take long to charge, plus constant fast charging will shorten the life of the battery.

Therefore it is not a shame just no point having it.

It is worth noting that good feature is that you can use a micro SD card as well as a 2nd sim which you are unable to do in the majority of dual sim phones.

also it does say you can use up to a 32gb card, I have a 64gb card in mine which works fine at full capacity. You also get android 6.0 with the cyanogenmod 13 update :D

It's very similar to stock android. I just got my mrs one (for pokemon go, natch), and she's the least tech-savvy person I know. :)

There are some nice faux(?) leather wallet-type ones on ebay/amazon.

It's a very good phone for the price. It would be my first choice for a replacement at the moment.

Had the the phone 3 or 4 weeks now and would highly recommend.
No bloat and battery life good. Plus I really like being able to set on a per app basis what it has access to. Great for those apps who seemed to want access to contacts, photos etc when there is no need. No problems with GPS either.

Yes. Trust me, I write for The Internet.

Used one of these for the past few weeks. Brilliant phone for the price.

what a cool name??

Very good phone, battery life isn't great but I think people find that is the case with most Android phones. Standby + gaming life is fair and what I would expect...web browsing and MS office feels like it burns through battery a bit too fast.

The people saying battery life is great can't be using their phones much. The battery is not great, at all. If you like to use your phone for web browsing/email/YouTube etc you WILL have to charge this every day because the battery life drops like a stone.

Not to mention the USB charging port is slightly recessed compared to other phones, meaning that some chargers don't even work properly with it. And god help you if you want customer service from Wileyfox. Buyer beware, as always.

I mentioned the charging port a number of times in previous listings. It was the sole reason for sending it back. None of my 4-5 chargers fitted it!!

I am interested in this phone, my moto G 3rd gen has been sent to motorola for repair and its been almost 2.5 weeks and nothing has happened with it.

Now's the time to send your chargers to recycling, & treat yourself to an Anker 5 Port USB Charger.

Nope, it's Android but with extra bits. If you like Android but want more control then you'll love this phone. It's not any different to Android in the way it works, looks and feels, there is just more of it. Couple of examples: it comes with Truecaller and you can turn individual app permissions on and off.
