£360.00 @ MobilePhones Direct
Saw this deal on Mobiles Direct for Wileyfox Swift For a total price of £168. Seems like a great deal. Comparable with the Moto g, and the 2gb data and 1000 minutes makes this a great deal Read More

The phone is £95 on amazon and that seems to get heat, so effectively this is £73 for the 24 month contract, just over £3 a month.

On that basis this is red hot - great find OP

... I'd prefer to pay the extra 50p to get the 4th deal down, with double the minutes and data each month. 8)

Be careful on this as cashback is to be claimed by instalments. Many people say they have never had problems, but nobody goes into these deals expecting the company to go bust and then the remaining cashback be lost.

I am not saying avoid it, just know your risk going in. And I would agree with rejector1, if you plan on doing this, the slightly higher cost for the increase in data and minutes is worth it, plus if for any reason the cashback does fail, you are getting more for your £15 per month payments.

Also, the deal title needs to be changed to say £360 before cashback, or £360 (£168 after cashback) or similar. HUKD rules state you must list the price in the title before any cashback.

But the 4GB packages don't include 99.7% UK coverage.

Only way to get this phone imo.
It won't matter if the battery fails after guarantee.+ 1 day.
Agree with nige182, Title should say £360.
Heat from me.

i did these sorts of cashback deals for years. hardly fimd good offers now.

i did cashback/chequebacks for maybe 8 years and only got stung on the last one. i saved over £2,000. was dead easy. just put the dates in your calendar so you dont miss emailing them the bill etc... easy!

I think you should calculate using selling price instead of buying price. also, if your aim is to sell the phone and keep the contract, HTC desire 530 deal sounds better to me (as it could sell for higher price)
[mod]#13
MarioMan the total price you pay is £360 i.e 24m x £15
The price of £168 is only after cashback. I did edit to reflect this but someone edited it back to £168. I have again edited it to show the actual amount any potential buyer will spend.

had 2 mobile.co.uk redemption deals - they simply didn't recognise some of the claims, and were extremely unhelpful despite repeated phone calls.

avoid like the plague IMO

I'll never understand why some redemption deals on here go hot whilst others go cold

Same here but luckily the last cheque for only about £42, saved so much I didn't sweat it.

I prefer now to get cash back through a CPW brand but chanced it with mobile phones direct as whole deal is only £72 cashback so risked it lol!

terrible build quality from this company, which is a shame. my friend had a storm and the button backlights died I think he's still waiting for a fix 6 months after he gave up and got an iPhone. he had a moto g before the swift and was very happy with it. I would recommend people get something else.

when I was on low incomes I was always buying these deals to make extra cash having 6/8 contracts at the same times with usually profit my way if u don't use sim as the sims they used to give u were extremely stupid combinations of video calls etc. now cant be bothered as too much hassle. I mostly dealt with e2save when they started n when three launched they were actually paying u to run the contracts for a year. but then they all went greedy

the battery is removable, so can be replaced. plus for £95 with a 2 year warranty you can hardly go wrong, plus if the battery died after 731 days I wouldn't cry too much :D

Or buy the phone from Amazon join Life mobile (thru uswitch) 30 day rolling contract £5.95 1000m,5000 texts & 1.5g & not be tied in for years. Especially with cashback deals, too much stress imho!

" Avoid - Statement from Samsung offical shop
My phone provided by this company has once again stopped charging.

Last time my phone stopped charging i took my phone to the samsung shop who reset the phone and said it was a dodgy German phone.
I was without my phone for 10 days while they reset. They questioned where I bought phone and told me that after a hard reset it should never be reset to Forgein technology. It would only search German networks etc. They told me they would advise everybody who comes into the shop not to use mobilephonesdirect.

Since I explained this on phone to a member or staff they panicked and offered me a new phone which is once again not charging.

I am returning this phone to Samsung again with charging error.

If this happens again I will be taking legal action against the company.

FINAL WORD: SAMSUNG OFFICIAL ADVISE DO NOT USE THIS "DODGY" COMPANY"
