Just got back from wilkinson's and they had a load of stationary on sale including 'pritt' brand pritt sticks reduced from £1.14 to 35p, Dvd mail boxes for 20p medium mail boxes for 32p. I picked up a 2 pack of superglue for 15p they also had sticky tack for 14p and folders for 14p and dividers for 9p along with other bargains, although as far as i'm aware these were not on sale as they didn't have the yellow labels on the shelf as they would do if it was on sale, but the white labels instead so should be available in all stores.

I'd send a photo of the receipt as proof, but my hands are currently stuck to the camera, receipt and blowup doll.

what is the best glue other than supergule? I used Araldite Rapid ones. They are absolute rubbish. more like blue tack. doesn't stick at all..

strongest I've used is Araldite precision Takes at least 12 houres to cure, Superglue is great on ceramics, and nothing sticks rubber better than superglue, Its used in industry to make o rings to custom sizes, Loctite superglue is best as some makes are made to soften when immersed in water to make them safer.

2 tubes of superglue for 15p?? At that price I think I could afford to buy the whole horse.

The best glue Ive ever found is Mitre Glue which although is designed glue wood joints together. Ive repaired trainers, ceramics, plastics, etc and it really works. Ive recommended it to so many people and everyone of them have been totally impressed its AMAZING stuff and really dries and sticks in 10 second.
It used to only be available at building merchants etc but Wickes have now started stocking its the same as the evo-fix brand. http://www.wickes.co.uk/instant-bond-mitre-fix/invt/240563/

Tesco have a sheet of 8 tubes of superglue for just 12p at the moment. They've reduced prices on lots of small diy items, including paint rollers, letter box draught excluders, washing lines, radiator keys, tape measures, etc.

Glues must always be selected by the materials and use, one glue never works for all. For example superglue is brittle and should not be used on flexible items, also it is usually very thin and therefore is only good with surfaces that mate closely.

Araldite (epoxy resin) is good for glueing many things, but not wood or some plastics.
