Good razor, good price.

Would be a good price if I can find it... although "was £5.82 was £2.91"

Link leads to website where you can't find it and in-store has no idea about this when asked.

Great deal! Now can anyone point to a site where there is an offer on the expensive blades?

£1.37 per blade. That's cheaper than some other brands, especially bearing in mind that this is titanium and I've found lasts longer. This is the standard price for the blades, not sure if there are any offers around.

Great price. I have one of these and the best thing is the trimmer on the other side.

I prefer the ones vibrate though and the wires over the blade mean you dont get such a close shave but you dont get cut either.

Worth it just for the trimmer alone as it is a decent quality trimmer.

This offer appears to not be online.

Got one of these free a while back, and they're horrible blades.... you can try rinsing the hair out of them for 10 mins, and I bet you wouldn't get them out, even with the tap on high!!

Completely agree with the above post! total rubbish razor. Had the misfortune to purchase this razor set a little while back. Upon shaving, the fresh blade clogged instantaneously as soon as soon as it touched the skin. I thought it was maybe a dud blade so changed it, and the same thing happened again so the whole set was binned. Please avoid at all costs. If you're seeking a quality shave, I suggest Gillette Fusion.

I bought at this price the other day... they also had the disposable version of this for £2.50 with three blades, interestingley the blades are near identical to the non-disposal razor and can be used on it. Effectively making it 83p a blade...

or you can just use it on the disposable handle which is quite good for a disposable

I bought one of these before I went on holiday 4 weeks ago, binned it. It was hideous to use. Had to buy a Gillette whilst away.

Cheap yes, nice to use? I'd say no...

I agree, the Fusion is the best shave.. shame about the blade replacement costs :(

Cracking offer at Tesco right now (if you can get in quick!). A 12 Fusion blades promo pack, including either a razor or moisturizer for £8.99 :)

I have this razor and just really don't like it. Best (value) razor I've been using recently is the King Of Shaves Azor which i bought from Boots for like £2.22 with 3 blades. Packs of blades were around the same cost too which was incredily cheap, plus it's made in the UK

Thanks for the heads up. Local Tesco's is small (Metro) and do not seem to stock this type of product. Was in there today and saw none at least!

Truly crappy razor, as previously posted. Clogs up, would only be effective on bum fluff. I bought one in Heathrow airport to shave before a flight, had to give up halfway through and had to buy a replacement from Boots. Bought a King of Shaves Azure - cheap, and really close shave. Buy one of those :)

Like others have posted, this razor really is rather rubbish. For disposable razors, the Gillette Fusion is by far the best (IMHO). Sadly, the price of their blades are just ridiculous.

On that note, once the last of my blades have been used - I'm switching to either a cut throat (which I've used before), or a Merkur. I still haven't decided what to get yet as the price of the razor (Merkur) is just shy of £30. Saying that though, the blades work out at around 20p each. I think you'll find that the initial cost will be worth it.

OT...

Interesting, never heard of Merkur before now... Did a web search and Merkur razors seem rather 'old fashioned' with the classic razor blade (double sided, single blade) design. Also came across this which claims to be able to sharpen Fusion blades... Reviews look mostly positive
