Bear with me here as I don't know a lot about Lego or these cheaper brand block sets.

I saw this today in my local Wiko store. Looks really good quality for the price (had one pre-built in store). Has 1,710 pieces and is over 1 meter long when built.

Apparently, these once cost £70 but now only £35. I would imagine the Lego equivalent would be a lot more than £70. So yer again I don't know much about lego. But it looked good for £35. Also says compatible with leading brands. So I guess that means these will work with lego bricks as well.

Anyone have any experience of Wilko Blox?
Are they a quality alternative or like some cheap alternatives do the models fall apart easily as there is little grip....??

I bought a farie wheel last week which was £7,not impressed but you get what you paid for. so don't keep your expectation too high.

I've got bought the Tank kit and the quality is quite decent. The instructions aren't up the the standard of Lego but when built it all feels quite sturdy.

My son and I were playing with some stuff in the Lego shop recently and that fell apart way too easily. Might have been a poor quality batch but certainly not a patch on their previous stuff.

This is an inferior product and shouldn't have been given the LEGO tag. It's a nice idea that LEGO should be producing. Sorry, I only buy the genuine article.
